RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Badassbill - 06-07-2009 I honestly don't get the Tetris humping. It's a puzzle game that gets old 5 minutes after you picked it up. People say "but it was a revolution that made gaming go main stream," guess what? So did Wii Fit. RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Cobalt Blue - 06-07-2009 its a quite simple game, easy to learn, that involves wise decisions and reflexes, and it can be ported to almost anything. not like a revolution but rather the fact that a 80 year old man could play it v/s a 10 year old without any kind of problem. the fuck you're comparing tetris with the wiifit :V RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Badassbill - 06-07-2009 Read back at what you said, and think about Wii Fit. Everything you said is relevant to both. RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Cobalt Blue - 06-07-2009 good luck playing wiifit while waiting in the bank or in the middole of a class... RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Chutzpar - 06-07-2009 Vipershark and Diagolesuusus are clearly in competition to make the shittiest post in this thread Also I like tetris not as some kind of srs "I could sit down and play this for hours" deal, but it's a pretty good way to 'shut off' if I'm worried about something etc same with most fairly simple games really RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - DioShiba - 06-07-2009 :\ anyways, tetris is probably one of the most flawless puzzle games in the world, aside from shitty clones that play like it RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Whispy - 06-07-2009 I'd probably commemorate the 25 years of Tetris before the, uh... whatever not-very-stand-out anniversary of D-Day. Happy 25, Tetris! RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Ngamer01 - 06-07-2009 Tetris is a fine puzzle game because it was something you can pick up and play in short bursts. You could also take it with you if you had a portable version of the game. How do you think the Game Boy owned all the competing handhelds of its time? Tetris. Tetris proved you didn't need state-of-the-art graphics and audio. You just need fun and addictive gameplay with great controls. RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Cobalt Blue - 06-07-2009 and it proved to be healthier than killing germans in a french beach~♪ RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Voyage 34 - 06-07-2009 When I got my cell phone the first thing I thought was "I have to download tetris" RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Chutzpar - 06-07-2009 does a single one of you actually have a clue what d-day was? I mean aside from being the largest amphibious attack made in military history and being pretty significant in the victory of the allies, it was also the day that a lot of people, british and american, died fighting for their countries, because they felt it was their duty. A lot of the people who did survive were traumatised. BUT ENOUGH ABOUT THE HORRORS OF WAR HERE ARE SOME COLOURED FALLING BLOCKS YAAAAAAY RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Cobalt Blue - 06-07-2009 thats why we created Medal of Honor and Call of duty. God, where is the Google picture for the 910th anniversary for the Siege of Jerusalem when 13,500 crusaders attacked the one thousands fatimids and proceeded to slaughter the forty THOUSAND civilians that lived there? Oh wait, we like history when it shows we're in the 'moral right'. Not actually bitching about google, my mistake for not being very clear it's more directed at the people here claiming that D-Day is somehow not important these people are douches. RE: 25th Aniversary of tetris - Zee - 06-07-2009 No it is important, but there are a lot of important events that goes by pretty much unknown by the population at large. Which was my point. |
