RE: Barubary's Submissions - Ultimecia - 07-22-2009

Loved those BoF4 rips, please rip more!

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Barubary - 07-31-2009

Another sidetrack from BOFIV; sorry.
However, you probably knew this was going to happen the second you knew this game was released/dumped;

Added the first half of the Doki Majo Plus trial characters.

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Barubary - 08-01-2009

Added the rest of the trial characters (and the game's icon); time to get back to ripping BOFIV.

(Also, the only reason Mike is called 'Mike' is because of her shirt. I have no idea what her actual name is)

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Ultimecia - 08-01-2009

I found the official website but no info on her (I think. It's Japanese but I didn't see any images of her). Maybe some wikia related to this series? Or games of the genre? Also no faqs at gamefaqs.

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Barubary - 08-01-2009

It's actually this page, as the one you provided was from the first game. And the game's only been out since yesterday, so FAQs with names might take a while to be written.

A Google-translated version of the character blog does seem to indicate she's called Mike though.

Great job. Big Grin

I know you're all waiting for more BOFIV rips, but I got the tool-making-itis again. This one lets you view NCER and NSCR files if you provide the appropriate graphics and palette files as well. Download it here; it should be self-explanatory*.

If someone is interested in the source code, PM/mail me, as I will not be releasing the source until the underlying library has been filled with more Nitro formats.

Note that some poses in NCER files might not display correctly (eg: part of them are on the other side of the frame). I have yet to find how I can keep that from happening. Everything should be there, though, so moving those parts yourself in your favourite image editing program should give you the complete image.

Bug reports are always welcome (even though I'd have preferred the absence of bugs).

*Well, except for maybe the extra items you see when a NCER file is viewed.
The Frame Size determines the size of the individual poses. To alter it, enter a number and press enter. (clicking Display again will reset the frame size)
The palette dropdown box should be self-explanatory though; it automatically updates the image if the value is changed.

Fantastic stuff! Big Grin

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Barubary - 08-23-2009

There, Ershin is finally as far ripped as I could from the tiles. Even though he does not have a lot of animations, a lot of the ones he has weren't exactly the easiest to assemble.

I've also updated the Glycerin Map Viewer; some bugs have been fixed, and more NCER files are supported. The two extra options for NCER files shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

This'll unfortunately probably be my last submission for a while; university starts in a week, and the courses I'll be following are bound to eat up most of my free time. So before putting ripping on hold, I've used my tool to rip the almost 550 DDMS2 mugshots, the DDMS2 bosses, and reripped the DDMS1 bosses (the stun-effect should be placed correctly now). All of which were nothing more than a bit tedious, and nice to rip in-between the insanity called Ershin.
Note that the bosses from DDMS1 were ripped from the second game, but the files are the same. Also, I somehow doubt they are actually in the second game as bosses, but I could be wrong

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Dazz - 08-25-2009

Awesome job man! All of this stuff is fantastic.
Shame about you going, but it's for a good reason, so all is well!

Hope to see you back soon! Big Grin

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Barubary - 10-27-2009

Since I did not want to do nothing when I was bored (or temporarily avoiding studying), I did something that was bound to happen sometime. Other reasons for this act were that I'm insane enough to actually attempt it, and coming back with a bang is always fun.

Added the 'writables' and some misc sheets from Scribblenauts. (not sure of the actual term, if any, of the things you 'summon' by scribbling/writing/whatever; I haven't played the game)
Some sheet titles may not fit exactly what's on the sheet. Feel free to rename those.

Also the icon was just something from the tutorial part of the game; you'll not offend me by using another, more interesting one ;].

(I've kept the magenta backgrounds so that you can more easily group the parts in the images)

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Ton - 10-27-2009

You've just made me so happy.

EDIT: I made my own icon. I hope you don't mind, but I thought it was a bit more appropriate. Tongue

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Ton - 10-27-2009

Is that all of the people? I didn't see the Robot, Zombie, or Clone in there. There may be others missing too. Though you might not be done, so that's cool too. Tongue

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Ton - 10-28-2009

I found all of them on other sheets. Disregard.

RE: Barubary's Submissions - Cyberman128 - 10-28-2009

I really needed these. Thanks loads. Must have taken you ages... Big Grin
