RE: Going out of my comfort zone... going out of my comfort zone... - Rosencrantz - 08-03-2009 Damn I thought I could get away with that alright; I'll see what I can do RE: Going out of my comfort zone... going out of my comfort zone... - Marth - 08-04-2009 Umm, shoulda mentioned this, in most poses for people, you can measure it in heads, like 3 heads to the crotch, 3/3 and half heads to the crotch, then another 3 heads to the foot touching the ground. Not entireley sure if that'll work for this pose but it does work for me in most cases. Also Chris, your edit is a heck of alot cleaner than mine, what program did you use that allowed you to transparent? Also I think that aerobesc(spelling here is bad), reach down to his foot touching the ground? Just a tad confused there. RE: Going out of my comfort zone... going out of my comfort zone... - Chris2Balls [:B] - 08-04-2009 Ah I didn't make mine transparent I made it from scratch in Paint You can use Photoshop if you have it, Paint.NET (free), and surely some browser tools ( Aviary->http://www.aviary.com) Once again, couldn't've put it better for proportions. Waiting for progress. RE: Going out of my comfort zone... going out of my comfort zone... - Rosencrantz - 08-05-2009 okay now my brain is starting to hurt I've tried fixing up the limbs to the right, and I just re-did the pointer arm problem is, though, if I try to keep the proportions proper in respect to the head, then I'd just outright break the style so I kept the head I decided to throw Snake in as a reference to how Ahruon did his proportions, and mostly because I used Snake as reference to fixing up the limbs I also had to shrink Phoenix down a bit, since his original sprite was waaaaaay too tall for the style :< anything I need to fix before I begin cleaning up and shading? RE: Going out of my comfort zone... going out of my comfort zone... - Chris2Balls [:B] - 08-05-2009 Shorten that arm, it's nowhere as long on Snake. Feet need to be bigger and stick to my edit for anatomy. That shoulder on the right is niggling me, as well as the leg (more the thigh) which is quite fat near the joint, which it isn't normally and which you can see on Ahruon's work. RE: Going out of my comfort zone... going out of my comfort zone... - Rosencrantz - 08-05-2009 any better? :V EDIT: okay so maybe that back foot is still a little too small; will fix |
