Y'know Viper, every time you do that, it gives me the sudden urge to just ignore the thread in question. We're quite capable of making moderation descisions without you.
Your idea is interesting, and RMXP is faaaairly simple to get to grips with, But solo projects are brutally hard going. Not everyone is a coder/writer/artist.
May I suggest entrants team up? Will sticky, but let's talk out potential problems first.

i did say in the OP that you may team up, but it wasn't high lighted very well. i will put it in the rules section. also i did say RTP graphc ere A-OK with me, and they are challenging t make a nice map out of but it is VERY possible. splicing tilesets is a good option. : - ) personally i am opting to use full RTP except for the playable battlers, which are from atelier annie. i will make custom char sets for those battlers since the obviously wouldnt match RTP

alsoooo does anyone know where I can get a good CBS like the one from RM2k3? I'd much rather my game have an FF CBS instead of a Dragon warrior one. I'd much rather see me characters onscreen, yanno?

You can only manage that with Ruby coding; which has the potential to be very annoying, and go wrong at regular intervals.

/rs/ has one, IIRC. I HAD one, but I may have uninstalled all my RM shit.
Also any bros wanna team up with me? I'm great with plot and dialogue, not to mention that I have a lot of material to work from (I've run Tabletop RPGs before, backlogs of area and character designs/info). Not so great in the spriting/coding department though. Could be a destrctuive force if I work together with someone.
