RE: Could I Make a Game if I Wanted To? - Ross.Irving - 06-19-2008 Yes, gravity is usually present in all games, Yoder. Seriously guys, I'm not trying to be an impatient dick. You've seen how I've replied to practically everyone and acknowledging what they have to say. I would love to know a few other basic things, like what tile-size should be used, if I should follow a certain palette, where can I discover this important information myself? I don't want to make a bunch of nice-looking graphics only to have it take forever to remake everything. I'm just not getting the information I need here to make any progress. Only ONE person actually answered my question. Then somebody says something about a "fifith one in the works" which isn't even a word. Then other people chip in about what it would be like and why it looks like it's top down instead of a side-scroller and everything else which should be discussed LATER. Not now, later. This thread was derailed. Much thanks to the moderator or administrator who closes the topic. An 8 direction platformer would work easily. |
