RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - Koopaul - 11-07-2009 What do you guys think of this Pikachu? Damn I don't know what I was thinking turning something like that into a 30's cartoon is hard... ![]() RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - Baegal - 11-07-2009 the only thing is the eyes... Try to make them both face the same direction RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - Jdaster64 - 11-08-2009 Quote: His facial expression looks like a cross between a normal "XD" face and Fortran. IMO, the comic strip Brawl in the Family nailed the head perfectly in this strip. Also, he should, as others have said, look a lot curvier and have a bit less well-defined skeletal structure. RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - DioShiba - 11-08-2009 ![]() Just a slight update on what some of the people were getting at, like Chirs2ball's suggestion. should I make it a bit more curvy and smoother then how it currently is still? still kind of unsure how this is coming out. RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - Rickhog - 11-08-2009 We should make them Looney Tunes styled-WITH COLOR! Maybe you should start over. Now this is what he probably should look like. Also that's where I got my inspiration for this topic. RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - DioShiba - 11-08-2009 Yeah, I think I should restart ether way tbh back to the drawing board I suppose EDIT: Massive revamp ![]() Inb4 anyone mentions anything about the right arm (my left) I'm already aware of that, Fixing that up and an other issues I have already noticed. RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - Vipershark - 11-09-2009 lol his feet are backwards again also his torso and arms are insanely huge, while the rest of his body is sort of small also, the eyes should be MUCH bigger (again only black Pac-Mans) and his arms ang legs should be much longer and thinner RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - nicktheslayer - 11-10-2009 (11-07-2009, 08:04 PM)koopaul Wrote: What do you guys think of this Pikachu? RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - Frario - 11-10-2009 Mario should be more like this : http://sheezyart.com/art/view/2171254/ RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - Baegal - 11-10-2009 (11-10-2009, 12:01 PM)Frario Wrote: Mario should be more like this : koopaul already posted that. Are talking the one on the front page or the one that was recently posted? just curious, though I am in the process of redoing some parts on the new one. EDITO: ![]() Anyways, I ended up remaking the lower part of the body and changed the color of the overalls, and I changed the hat a bit. I think I could still work on Mario's right arm a bit, it doesn't seem to be as great as I think it should be. (Those, and I should mention that I made the body a bit smaller) So what do you guys think of it so far? RE: 1930s Video Game Characters! - Dave - 11-11-2009 ok...that Mario looks very...kind of...needs a bit of... Well it's kind of weird looking kind of reminds me of a Drawing a little cousing did when he was five or four... Needs a complete redo. |
