RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - [robo9] - 11-12-2009

Sorry for double post.

Quick update on things, not adding Blaziken yet since he didn't look right...

Basic colours, no shading yet. Bellsprout looks a bit weak though :/

And for Ditto, eyes and smile combo for A, B, or C?

C+C please Cute

RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - Ego - 11-12-2009

Colors = Looks good, particularly Zangoose's markings.
Bellsprout = Looks odd because of the mouth and odd shaped leaves. Mouth looks too thick for a ring(Although this would be hard for anyone), and the leaves just look odd.
Ditto = B, by far. Decision on the blob arms?

RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - [robo9] - 11-12-2009

Well I orignally planned of having him just extend them from his body, which is why his shape has been what it is, and without the showable arms.

RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - Ego - 11-12-2009

I guessed that you might have done that. It's a good idea.

Trial of shading, doing Nuzleaf, he'd be the easiest to shade currently. Shading's my worst part though... C+C?

There are several issues with the head alone, so if you don't mind I'll help you with this edit:

I fixed the nose, removed the mask's outline, and gave him a bigger leaf

RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - [robo9] - 11-13-2009

Is this any better at all? [Image: attachment.php?aid=3055]

RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - Sengir - 11-14-2009

Well, you can't see the bottom outline of the nose, and it blends in with the mask. I'd suggest fixing that and maybe some hue shifting

RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - [robo9] - 11-15-2009

Like this Norsk? And by hue shifting you're referring to the shading, correct?

RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - Sengir - 11-15-2009

yes and yes

though i think hue shifting is needed on the mask mostly

RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - [robo9] - 11-15-2009

Oh so like this

RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - Cobalt Blue - 11-16-2009

thats barely a hue shift, sir

RE: PokeFighting MM2D Game - [robo9] - 11-16-2009

Well I used the shade from the DPP sprite, since the mask's base colour is literally the same.
