Trudy's Time and Space House was one of the best. I have ROMs of most Humungous Entertainment games and <Person's> <Something> House games

There might be some here, but I haven't gotten the confirmation email yet.

You guys remember the old Mac game, where you would scan along the ocean floor to find fish?
And it had abyssal fish at the last level?
Someone needs to find that one. Heart

I'm not particularly found of C-DOS Abandonware, but I do have some links that might be useful:

http://www.abandonia.com/
http://www.abandonware-paradise.org/ -> French, but got a English option and it's easy to navigate anyway
http://www.hotud.org/
http://www.freeoldies.com/index.php -> Best EVER
http://www.oldgames.sk/en/index.php
http://www.thehouseofgames.net/
http://www.abandonware-utopia.com/ -> Also French, requires sign up but it's also easy to navigate

I have a copy of Mega Math Blaster here, and since my mom's a teacher I have access to a bunch of educational games if you guys want them

RE: Old educational games - Kitsu - 11-15-2009

I also have both Zoombinis, and a few others, but they don't work on Vista. Maybe I can rip the ISOs for other people?

I'll see what I can do.
Next time I go to help clean her class, I'll get the games.

Having Zoombini sprites would be extremely pro.

Have we been playing the exact same games all our lives?
Also I have Magic School Bus, and Disney's Magic Kitchen had some amazing sprites iirc.

RE: Old educational games - Ton - 11-16-2009

I got Dr. Quandary to download, but I can't run it because it's DOS-based. I'll upload it if you guys want to have a look. Maybe we can check into it with existing tools?

There was this game in where you were some guy in like a jungle or forest like atmosphere and you used different animals to complete different objectives. It was the greatest game I've ever played but I could never remember what it was called.

RE: Old educational games - Ultimecia - 11-16-2009

To run DOS-based games just try DOSBox, an DOS-emulator Wink
For many of older PC games there are extracting tools, but I'm not sure which ones are compatible with educational games
