Plenty of the bosses in Clockwork Knight 1 and 2 are good, but plenty of them are also horrid. I'd list them, but I don't think that they were given names.

The bosses from Bug 1 and 2 were all awfully unfair (not to mention difficult).

All bosses from Kirby Squeak Squad were too easy because all you need is some candy in your pallete to be immortal and kill them without really trying.

Best: Boomer Kuwanger, Cutman, Model L, Model P, and Pandora/Promethius-Megaman X, Megaman 1, and Megaman ZX

I hate it when people do that kind of shit and then complain that it's too easy. If it's too easy with tornado/invincibility/whatever, and you want a challenge, beat it using a different ability. Honestly, try beating Mecha Kracko with no ability.

Also, who the heck actually goes back to stock up on invincibility candy before every boss battle? Grow some balls.

So says the person who has no balls. Also I beat Mech Kracko with no abilities, he is the only challange on KSS.

Another good boss was the Helmaroc King from Loz Wind Waker.
One dumb thing is how in Worms: Open Warfare 2 the bosses are just enemies with 100+ health and sometimes unlimited items.

First of all, the point of any boss is to be hard. Second, an evil villain is supposed to do all that crap. I think Shadow Queen was the best boss of the PM series.

Worst - The Genie from Dark Could 2 (after the credits and through the zelmite mine) Unnessacarilly hard I could only beat it with my action reply and I didnt need it thought the whole rest of the damn game

Nintendo had it's chance for a Sephiroth-level villain, someone who could have given Gannondorf the boot for good, but NO, they make him a psychotic copycat who makes me shoot hate-beams from my eyes.

nothing can describe my expression when I finally get to Gant near the end of the game and expected him to be the biggest badass ever, and then he goes and throws a temper tantrum.
