RE: Website Partners - Mabelma - 11-27-2009 Yeah I know he's right. When did you become a mod Tyvon? That's awesome. I'll forget about the website for a few months cause Metaru is right. My portfolio is full of crap, I need to make actual art before I run a website. RE: Website Partners - Vipershark - 11-27-2009 way to uh... "submit" there RE: Website Partners - Mabelma - 11-27-2009 Don't really get what you're saying. RE: Website Partners - Vipershark - 11-27-2009 You just sort of gave in there. Even though the others were technically right, it's sort of like "hey guys check this out" "I don't like it" "You're right I'm a failure at life I won't attempt this ever again." RE: Website Partners - Mabelma - 11-27-2009 It wasn't really his post that made me give in, what really made my give in was watching other portfolios and noticing that the only thing I really had to offer to future employers were mediocre vectors and most of the actual good things lacked the woow factor. That doesn't mean I will give up art instead it means that I must keep on drawing, I must keep going in on and try ten times harder and keep on making my own style. I'm currently finishing some art books by Andrew Loomis and then I will most likely try the new knowledge into some new piece before I start working on the portfolio again. I'm thinking of doing what Kosheh( I think it was him) did about drawing a new thing everyday on posting it here for critic and then apply the critics/advice to the drawing on the next day but I don't really know if I should do it yet since I have no actual idea of anatomy or proportion. RE: Website Partners - Cobalt Blue - 11-27-2009 it helps to think before doing something. RE: Website Partners - Mabelma - 11-28-2009 That is true. I thought of an amazing layout for the website. I'll scan it in a sec to get some critics cause I really want to get it nice. Here you go: http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/qq234/mabelma95/WebsiteLayout.jpg RE: Website Partners - Mabelma - 11-28-2009 I have made a lot of new edits to the website but I want your opinions on the website and on the layout. Here's the link again: www.mabelma.weebly.com RE: Website Partners - Jordan - 11-28-2009 rip i'd advertize my ass if it had a website RE: Website Partners - Alpha Six - 11-28-2009 technically he's not advertising, he's looking for crits now maybe i should move this topic hmm RE: Website Partners - Mabelma - 11-28-2009 To where Tyvon and yeah I'm not really advertising. I'm looking for critics. RE: Website Partners - Alpha Six - 11-28-2009 I'll move it to Creativity for now, I guess. It seems like a better place than GD. RE: [WEBSITE] Mabelma's Portfolio, Looking for Crits - Mabelma - 11-28-2009 Thanks for doing that and for changing the title. It's way better here. I'll get to work on a background now.
