The Viqueen illustrations are looking good! Have you tried making the strokes follow the volumes?

thanks chris Smile I am using parallel strokes to paint to give it a sketchy feel while maintining order, and I intend to use this style for this series of drawings.

Haha, thank! And it's drawn in SAI, actually; I don't think I could've gotten it to look quite right vectorized.

Trying to get better at painting more photorealstic looking characters, I tend to have trouble with lighting and skin tones, but i'm getting a bit closer to my goal.
