RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - Alpha Six - 10-16-2010 Sonic Colors looks pretty promising, mainly because they aren't overhyping it with ~~~the classic return you've been waiting for~~~ and instead hyping it as a new game. A buddy of mine got a hold of an early demo and said it's really fun, and levels have a lot of branching paths so you're not just running blindly all the time. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - DioShiba - 10-16-2010 I'm probably going to get colors on the wii. Because I have hopes that it will be the best sonic game in awhile. My only problem was with this Mama Robotnik calling it a "crime against gaming" I thought that was babyish. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - DioShiba - 10-16-2010 But aside from that, he has an extent to his main point. I don't necessarily like mama robotnick for the way he uses his opinions, and the last things I really need to care about is how much of a baby he is, or how much nostalgia-fagging he goes one about, but he can at least point out that Sega hasn't made a good sonic game like the classics in awhile. By merging that into this debate, Sonic 4 hasn't come close to that despite the efforts Sonic Team gave, even though being a decent game. If anything I hope the next episodes can fix all of the issues the first has, then I would like to see all of it put together into one huge complication disc. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - Koopaul - 10-16-2010 Eh I guess I can't blame them. You know just a few days before this Shantae: Risky's Revenge became downloadable for the DSiWare... It's just phenomenal the difference in quality compared from that to this... And it's cheaper! The sad part is this game will still sell better than that because... well its Sonic. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - GrooveMan.exe - 10-17-2010 No, this will sell more because it's multiplat. Not only is Shantae 2 only on one format; only a fraction of DS owners have a DSi. I actually really want Shantae, but I don't have access to DS Ware. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - SKELTON S. SKELETON - 10-17-2010 You can't blame Sega for having an excellent model. All they have to do is hype middle quality titles like Sonic 4 significantly and people will buy them just to see if it's true. Shantae is cool and all but its kinda obscure. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - DioShiba - 10-17-2010 (10-17-2010, 01:58 AM)KOJJIRO Wrote: You can't blame Sega for having an excellent model. In the case of sonic 4 Sega was trying to appeal to the classic sonic fans, It only worked on a slim few. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - Cobalt Blue - 10-17-2010 how does dieheard weaboo fanboys still exist on the year 2010 goes beyond me. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - TomGuycott - 10-18-2010 I don't want to pay 15 dollars for an incomplete game. I could get a complete Sonic game for less. Colors might be the first one I've been mildly interested in playing since the Adventure series. I just haven't played any of the others out of lack of interest or they were widely considered to be abominations. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - Cell Shaded Envy - 10-26-2010 Sorry for bump, but Nintendo Power gave Sonic Colors 9.0 on the Wii and 7.5 on the DS. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - JarJar - 10-27-2010 The music for sonic colors is fucking amazing, it's so sonic it's not even funny. The multiplayer looks really fun too. Folks I think this is the "return" you've been waiting for. The first review got a 86% so Nintendo Power giving it a 9.0 makes it really promising. RE: Oh Sonic... here we go again... - ThePortalGuru - 10-27-2010 Anxiously hoping that this is the Mario Galaxy equivalent of Sonic. |
