RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 06-28-2016 I was told by SuperArthurBros over on MFGG that at least two feet look odd. He never told me why, so I had to make new versions based on a guess I have. It's included with some new progress for the Big Lantern Ghost. So, I gave the ghost two alternate types of arms (maybe the shoulder could have been rounded a bit better), a straight version of the dangling head bit, and alternate positions for the bottom of the sheet. Of course, I included a variation for when you can see underneath the Big Lantern Ghost due to the angle. If this is a good idea and necessary, then I'll develop it a bit further. Otherwise, I'm scrapping this idea. RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 07-05-2016 Chaoxys on MFGG told me that he likes the alternate Peach arms, so... I also worked on some new Mario parts and fixed the alternate straight arm for the Big Lantern Ghost. RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 07-06-2016 Blandish over on Starman.net was a big help by telling me that the front facing feet are needed. As a result, I refined the mockup and created some additional sketches for the front and the back. How am I doing? RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 07-07-2016 As it turns out, SuperArthurBros. is unable to give me any new feedback on the feet due to his limited computer access. In the meantime, I decided not to deal too much with feet (even ones for different characters) and work on things I know I'm able to. Kent C. Koopa is almost fully textured. I just want to see which arm I should use and which style of shine for the glasses. RE: Paper Mario animations - Hiynastrike - 07-07-2016 A say the left lens of A with the right lens of C RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 07-08-2016 I'm glad I can count on you for making decisions like that, Hiyna! RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 07-09-2016 I worked on just a little bit more for the Goombas. RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 07-09-2016 SuperArthurBros. really likes the idea of the new mouth placement, so I went with that. Still, I'm a little concerned that maybe I should make the lower jaw open more, so I played around with that idea a bit. Of course, I included it with a little more Peach progress. RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 07-10-2016 There's still a little more I can do with my Koopas, so expect another update soon. RE: Paper Mario animations - DarkGrievous7145 - 07-10-2016 tbh, i'm not sure i like the teeth at all, or like they are right now, anyways, they just look like a white dish that's been mostly inserted in the upper beak or something. RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 07-11-2016 I guess it's due to the fact that there's no spacing for each one. I didn't do it originally because I thought it looks a little creepy compared to just showing the teeth as one solid entity. RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 07-12-2016 Even though I'm still not fond of the idea of the idea of adding spacing between the teeth, I'm at least taking a new suggestion regarding the chompers that GameBoyEnhance over on MFGG gave me. I still feel like the back overall straps seem a little off in spite of you guys never mentioning that, so I provided an alternate example. What do you think? RE: Paper Mario animations - DarkGrievous7145 - 07-12-2016 yep, it does look creepy what a dilemma other than that, looking good definitely should use the fist with the fingers, and i haven't the faintest idea which body to use...sorry RE: Paper Mario animations - E-Man - 07-12-2016 Okay, do you or anyone else have any ideas on how to make the teeth not look like a white dish and make it look less creepy? RE: Paper Mario animations - Hiynastrike - 07-12-2016 you kinda want a smirk-like smile, it looks unnatural because of the beak |
