RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - shadowman44 - 01-12-2019 You're really killing it with the Sonic hack rips, are there any hacks you wouldn't do? Probably the ones that do the most miniscule changes to the game (i.e. OMG THE RED RINGS, where the rings' sprites just use the first ring frame loaded in memory, just flipped and using Sonic's pallete, which amounts up to only one sprite if it was ever put in a sprite sheet, which tSR probably won't allow anyway. If I wanted to, I could easily take a Gens screenshot, remove everything but the ring, add a background, and call it a "sheet".) <-This only took mere seconds to make. On a side note, here's another Amiga Sonic rip. Green Hill Zone (Sonic The Hedgehog Demo, Amiga) RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 01-26-2019 I decided to turn the only sprite sheet I made for the Spectrum's "worst licensed game ever" into another Everything sheet. I also included stuff from the Special 128k version's tape. What's the difference between the 64k and 128k tapes you may ask? It just adds a space shooter, extra HUD frames, a title screen, the saddest ending ever, and (strangely) duplicates the boot screen graphic. So much for being "special" when they could've done a bit better. Everything (Count Duckula II, ZX Spectrum) RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 01-29-2019 Here's a full rip of the ZX Spectrum Sqij remake from 2018 (or 2017 if you want to judge by the boot image). Everything (Sqij, 2018 ZX Spectrum Homebrew) RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Ton - 01-30-2019 Whoa, that face is creepy. Nice job! RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 04-06-2019 I realized I haven't posted here in a while, so here's a more recent rip. Everything (2 ZX Spectrum ports of Xevious by Probe Software and Maz H. Spork) RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 06-01-2019 ...Do people still read the forums anymore? Well here's some more obscure stuff anyway, now featuring birdmen with steroids. Ani / Ototo Karasukun (J.J. RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 10-04-2019 Here's more stuff from kid medal games, this time one that doesn't even work in Mame yet. Penta (Fuusen Pentai, Arcade) |
