RE: New stages - HyperSonic92 - 12-04-2009 I haven't played Punch Out a lot but I do agree a stage for it would be awesome. How about Doc Louis' training room? How about Doc Louis' training room?Or Hippo Island as I suggested before: Punch-Out!! Hippo Island: The homeland of the most known Punch-Out Boxer, King Hippo. The fight would take place on a ring in the tropica Island. Two palm trees at each sides of the ring would serve as platforms. King Hippo could also appear(like Ultimate Chimera) to fight. RE: New stages - Koopaul - 12-04-2009 I think a regular "The Ring" should be the fighting spot since its the place everyone is most familiar with. This, and it could work like Dedede's stage too! (like when you fight him at Classic Mode) RE: New stages - red reaper - 12-09-2009 are we doing any style in specific on the stages RE: New stages - mutantyoshi - 12-10-2009 For a Yoshi stage, could we do an areal view of Yoshi's Island, with this image as the background? http://www.square-enix.co.jp/itastds/map/map_m01.html Mario Wiki is down for me for some reason, so I had to find it in the official site, this is from the game Itadaki Street DS. RE: New stages - Alpha Six - 12-11-2009 Right, well, I think 24 pages of stage discussion is enough for now. There's probably plenty of stage ideas in this topic. Nobody suggest any more please, now we just need to go through these pages and decide what sounds good and what doesn't. If someone is willing to help do that, that would be greatly appreciated, as I really don't feel like looking through 24 pages of stages and miscellaneous discussion. RE: New stages - Kitsu - 12-11-2009 Darn it. I was just going to post an idea about a Spirit Tracks stage... RE: New stages - Alpha Six - 12-11-2009 Okay fine shoot, but that is the absolute last idea. RE: New stages - DanKen - 12-11-2009 Okay here are the first four pages: Lost Underground- Earthbound Grass Land- SMB3 Duck Hunt- Duck Hunt Wart's Throne Room- SMB2 Castle Egger Death Mountain MAGICANT: From Mother 1 and Earthbound WII SPORTS RESORT: From Wii Sport Resort Hyrule Castle Mario Clash Mother Brain’s Chamber Smash City The Underworld Katina for a Starfox stage A new Poke Floats A Super Mario Bros. 3 airship Hydrocity Zone Shinjuku Rooftop Rougeport from Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door Tanker or the Plant Advance Wars stage Viridian Forest Gangplank Galleon Casino stage Pyoro Bowser's Castle Twilight realm Mt. Hope this isn't too much to ask, but can you include descriptions and images that were supplied with said ideas? If they don't have any meat to the idea, you can just remove it from the list. RE: New stages - Kitsu - 12-11-2009 Spirit Tracks Somewhat similar to the existing Wind Waker stage or to Big Blue. The main stage is the Spirit Train, which puffs along at a fairly steady pace, going through a part of each realm (forest -> snow -> fire -> ocean -> forest -> etc.) Enemies occasionally appear in the background to attack the train (and those on it), such as those pirates who fire cannons (like in WW stage), bulls that jump over the train and hit players, or the evil rocket trains that sort of travel with the main train a bit before eventually exploding (doesn't hit the main train). The stuff in the background is probably not really possible in sprite form, though. RE: New stages - Ton - 12-11-2009 Sounds pretty cool. RE: New stages - DanKen - 12-11-2009 I don't have much time at the moment to add the descriptions, but if we add them this page will go on infinitely. I'm just gonna wait and see the first background before I do anything. |
