RE: chinese cartoons - DioShiba - 06-18-2012 Decided to pick up on Panty & Stocking with Gaterbelt. All and all I'm kind of interested in picking up the DVD release when it comes out, maybe I might even pre-order it if I'm lucky enough to have the case by then. Also I really want to see the new Lupin III series at some point. RE: chinese cartoons - Cell Shaded Envy - 06-24-2012 so the dub of PSG actually looks pretty good!! RE: chinese cartoons - Vipershark - 06-29-2012 I just finished watching Toradora with StarSock64. It was good, but then the last three episodes that ending what did i just watch ...anyway, we're going to watch Nichijou now. RE: chinese cartoons - Lexou Duck - 06-29-2012 Well i just started rereading rurouni kenshin wait is this thread only for anime or does manga count RE: chinese cartoons - puggsoy - 06-29-2012 Manga counts, people have been talking about it as well. Personally I really enjoyed it and if it wasnt for the ending I probably would've given it a 10 out of 10 RE: chinese cartoons - Joseph Styling - 06-29-2012 again the novels deal with it better RE: chinese cartoons - Joseph Styling - 07-05-2012 Ok so the best manga in the universe is getting an anime adaptation and a PS3 game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NElDAP3njYM RE: chinese cartoons - Cell Shaded Envy - 07-08-2012 there are many reasons when I tell people to check out One Piece, I tell them to read the manga instead of watch the anime many, many reasons IN OTHER ONE PIECE NEWS you guys have heard about One Piece Z, right? Like Strong World, it's being written by Oda, so !! Dat Usopp beard and Aokiji And One Piece: Pirate Warriors still comes out on PSN in November! RE: chinese cartoons - Helmo - 07-09-2012 It's not being written by Oda just overseen by him. Also whats with the drop in animation quality? Is the new style too hard to draw or what?? RE: chinese cartoons - Mutsukki - 07-09-2012 That's just some frames, terrible art like this happened A LOT in older episodes too (specially Jaya arc/early Skypiea and some fillers), it depends on the team I guess, but a lot of the time, it's pretty good, it's never Pain vs Naruto bad. Here's a scene that became A LOT more powerful in the anime, despise having some wonky frames too (kinda spoiler): RE: chinese cartoons - Gaia - 07-09-2012 (07-08-2012, 11:09 PM)Cell Shaded Envy Wrote: there are many reasons when I tell people to check out One Piece, I tell them to read the manga instead of watch the anime I guess the animation looks rushed I mean look at Nami, she's about to split into two like microrganisims (or they just hired artists from deviantart). Plus Luffy's leg looks REALLY thin. There's being made of rubber, but that's just insane! RE: chinese cartoons - Mutsukki - 07-10-2012 hey guess what, animators have shit deadlines and this is probably really zoomed in/no more than 1 second of frames. Quality should always be enforced, but really, this thing comes out weekly and this kind of thing doesn't happen that often. RE: chinese cartoons - Cobalt Blue - 07-10-2012 i should remind you my dear anime weaboos that anime per se is produced at industrial levels. therefore, chances of frames or segments being poorly animated/designed are prone to happen more often than desired due to abusively strict deadlines. even more often in the more popular shows. wich is why teh quality and flow of the animation used on said TV shows can not be compared to larger productions such as the ones seen in movies and OVAs. compare that clip, notice the recycled frames used on each scene. by doing so, they save a lot of precious time. PS: i'm watching Gundam 0083: stardust memory now Gundam, I now regret not including you in my life before. |
