RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Chaoxys - 03-02-2010 I guess I'll just stick with the original then. RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - EpicPwner - 03-02-2010 I'll call cacnea bigfamily.bmp (Size: 42.24 KB / Downloads: 279) there RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Wes - 03-02-2010 (03-02-2010, 08:33 AM)EpicPwner Wrote: I'll call cacneaThis project is for custom sprites in Generation 2 style, not recolors/shading edits of official sprites. It looks alright for what it is, but it's not right for this project. It's also not in style. RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Chaoxys - 03-02-2010 Any of these getting better? Personally, I think I like the 3rd the most, I just need to make the bead lighter. RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Sengir - 03-02-2010 the first one looks good, but probably should have less white. RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - D2S-Speed - 03-02-2010 I'm not really good with 8-Bit sprites but here is Ralts. RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Devicho - 03-02-2010 Did some updating on the list. Not linking sprites yet, I'll get around to that later when there are more complete ones. Don't know how do go with Drifloon considering one has been done, so I'll wait to see if Neslug is gonna submit it here. (Also I claimed my godpony buddy :3c) RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Baegal - 03-02-2010 too many colors, and it kinda looks like a trace :/ RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Chaoxys - 03-02-2010 The bottom 2 are my current top picks as of right now I guess. RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Wes - 03-02-2010 Ralts isn't bad, but it's too many colors. Not counting white and black, it has 5, while the limit is 2. Also Chaoxys, mind if I try messing with Zoroark's colors/shading a bit? RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Chaoxys - 03-02-2010 Sure I guess. Honestly, I kinda wanna do it on my own so if you could possibly try once more to tell me whats wrong with the newest one so I can take another crack at it. ALso if you have a better idea for the colors I should use, feel free to tell. RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Wes - 03-02-2010 The brown isn't really working for me. I'd say try to find a better grey, but in GSC all of the greys were purple and brown. Maybe try something darker, like Skarmory or the second shade on Onix or Steelix. The main thing though, I think you should try to not use the grey as the darker shade of red, or the red at the dlighter shade of grey. When a Pokemon is several colors, its best to try and use white and black it shade instead of the two colors, unless the colors really go together. Something that is one color like Geodude is ok to shade with two colors, but red and grey should not. Like on his arm that's downward, try white as the highlight instead of red. Same with the legs and shoulder. The hair should be all red, with black as shadows and black dithering in some parts. But otherwise it's really good. Sorry if I made it sound like there were a whole bunch of problems. I just feel like its close, but not quite. Also updated ghosts. Changed Banette's pose to be less boring and messed with the shading. RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Chaoxys - 03-02-2010 Okay, I know it's still probably not right, but I think it's a step in the right direction. RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Sengir - 03-02-2010 That last Dark Grey/Red one is the best. RE: Pokemon G/S/C Devamp Project - Wes - 03-02-2010 It's a lot better now, but you could probably use a little bit of white to highlight the arm, knees, and shoulder. |
