i know, but i'm going to say this anyway
most of the hate for lucky star is just bandwagoning
I personally find the show to be really funny and well-written
of course there are some times where it gets a little slow or dry, but that happens with any show
sometimes the humor gets a little too japanese so that it's impossible to understand what's going on unless somebody explains the jokes, but generally the rest of the time the jokes are videogame and anime oriented so anyone can understand them
if you do decide to watch it though, don't watch the dub
it's awful beyond words

Well to be honest not all anime is bad. the community of people who like anime are mostly men who tend to jack off at it anyway or those who love the super popular anime. so the community is bad yes but i can probably find something that you'd like.
