It works just a bit differently in this game: The Dark Matter Knights are a group rather than a single being. They are basically Dark Matter's Dragoons and make their base inside the Dark Matter itself. They rarely speak and when they do, it's hard to understand their language. Rest assured both the true form and the knight form is in the same game, though reimagined it may be. Anyway, new sheets here. Both are Final Fantasy related this time around. The ghost npc found in the Phantom Train in Final Fantasy VI. Based moreso over on the official artwork by Amano than on their sprite in the actual game. Not a summon at first, but a cranky old man travelling with Carbuncle in a small clan on Ivalice, the world of Final Fantasy. He doesn't like you at all at first, but when Carbuncle becomes the prey of Atomos, he lends you his strength to rescue her from him. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Tero - 08-11-2008 That's one creepy ghost RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Ultimatedude - 08-11-2008 Ive been watching this thread for a while, just wanted to say, Good Luck This project looks very promising, and the sprites are out of this world, but they look more than 8-Bit Once more, Good Luck RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Kitsu - 08-12-2008 (08-11-2008, 01:46 AM)SmithyGCN Wrote: It works just a bit differently in this game: The Dark Matter Knights are a group rather than a single being. Kinda like wraiths then (LotR)? Cool! RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - SmithyGCN - 08-14-2008 Esper Carbuncle. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Cshad - 08-14-2008 The tail on that thing looks kind of horrible. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - SmithyGCN - 08-14-2008 Any...... pointers? RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Rakia - 08-14-2008 Maybe make the very end of the tail drag, because with it just hanging it looks awkward. Either way, though, it looks good to me. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Cshad - 08-14-2008 The lineart on it looks really rough, maybe ry remaking the tail so its more round-er? RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - SmithyGCN - 08-14-2008 Oh, all right. I'll see what I can do. Now that I look at it, it does seem a bit flat at the top too. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - KillerAslox - 08-14-2008 I think his her colours are a bit weird (Or it could be me, I only played Revenant Wings for DS so I guess that also could be the problem) RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - SmithyGCN - 08-14-2008 Well, this Carbuncle's a "she" for this game for one. Anyway, Carbuncle is blue in some games and others it takes a green hue. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - FRET - 08-16-2008 very awesome work, as always Smithy RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - GadgetTR - 08-18-2008 Yes yes, please pursue this goal.
