That was a really interesting interview. RE: Anyone here listen to... - Vipershark - 12-05-2010 it just shows that both of them are retarded RE: Anyone here listen to... - [robo9] - 12-06-2010 I do find it impressive that they did have a cd reach number four on the charts without any radio/television play or advertisement. RE: Anyone here listen to... - RaymanFan1995 - 12-06-2010 I think I might be able to. This might not be entirely correct, but it's my hypothesis. You see, I think that even though they make naughty lyrics, maybe what they're really doing is "mocking" the serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer, who "murdered 17 people and ate them". While the lyrics may be violent, they really don't go around killing people. They were in an interview on the CBS Sunday Morning show with Charles Osgood on Halloween. Did they murder the interviewer? No. Did they admit some people can be scared of clowns? Yes. And, if you read this paragraph from the interview: "All of which made Violent J's announcement a few years ago really quite astonishing: Insane Clown Posse have this entire time secretly been evangelical Christians. They've only been pretending to be brutal and sadistic to trick their fans into believing in God. They released a song, Thy Unveiling, that spelt out the revelation beyond all doubt: Fuck it, we got to tell. All secrets will now be told. No more hidden messages…Truth is we follow GOD!!! We've always been behind him. The carnival is GOD and may all juggalos find him. We're not sorry if we tricked you." ...then you will find out they're not who they seem. Also, if you listen to their song "Suicide Hotline", Violent J thinks about killing himself. And at the end of the song, you'll hear a church event. If they weren't religious, do you think they would've put that in? No. And in the song "My Shine", you'll hear the words: "Truth is I never been to any Churches, 'cept for some chicken I dont trust noone, I tell a priest eat a ***, and Then spit some old school Esham on his ass I even use Bible papers when I'm twisting my grass But the Carnival has always been around with us blessing It ain't never tried to feel up my balls at confession We know the Carnival is God. That's odd? So what. It is And we ain't sorry if we tricked you BIOTCH!!!" Now, as for the retarded part, you may be right, because Violent J can't explain properly why a giraffe or an elephant are miracles. And he also says no one knows how magnets work. That's not true, obviously scientists know how they work. Some adults just don't know new technology. Magnets haven't been around forever! Maybe they didn't come out until he was 15-18 or whatever. Most kids these days, as well as all geeks and nerds, happen to be very intelligent. Some people just aren't geeky or nerdy enough to be interested in that kind of stuff. It doesn't mean they're retarded. They were just poor growing up: "We were dirt poor," Shaggy says. "You can't get no poorer. Fighting, food stamps, I was a fucking thief for a living, hustling, getting money, we were balls deep in that shit." Those are some parts of my hypothesis. And like I said, I could be wrong, but that's the best I could come up with.
