On topic, uhhh the only thing I can think of is that years and years ago my grandma used to try and clean the N64 cartridges that my other cousin used to lick and spit into, causing them to not work. :X

I attempted soft modding my wii through the brawl hack once but for some reason it didn't work, one of the files for it was missing and it ended up failing on me, I'm glad the console didn't break down on me however.

this is an old X-Box with a fixable problem that is out of warranty that is also currently in pieces right now
quick someone tell me what kinds of mods I should do to this; I'm thinking LED lights, but this might be lame in the long run

If you count softmodding, then I softmodded my Wii and helped a friend softmod his.
I suppose you could count having to take my Gameboy Micro's cover off frequently in order to clean the screen -- it's insane how quickly dust builds up in there.
I remember I used to take game pads apart all the time when I was a kid, out of curiosity.

xbmc is a media player/backup loader
the OG xbox is supposed to be one of the best media centers available if you set it up right

Can these things be modified for HDMI-out? That'd be a nice addition.
I have an OG Xbox which is supposedly boken but I have no cords or anything to use so I can check; it's just the console itself.
I'd like to get another (working) OG so that I can see what the problem is.
