Don't worry. I don't think it's going to pass. Either way you can get company permission to do one you just have to send an email to them and ask. Believe it or not most game companies are pretty cool with stuff like that.
It's hard to believe that they are not.

True, but the cool part is that they can say no. Say a review site like IGN wants permission to host video walkthroughs and so does a random 12-year old YouTuber with a history of poorly-made Let's Plays (used a cell phone camera, makes idiotic jokes, etc). The game company can (and probably will) deny the 12-year old but give the review site permission.

or game companies would make it so you have to buy permission, like what was originally suggested, i'd say it depends on the company
