Just make it a bit longer than the one on the gun, it can look quite similar. That way a relationship is established between both canvases!

Here's an updated version of mine. Tried to get some of the stuff that was bothering me out of it. The queen's face is still annoying me, though. Ah well. Not bad for something hastily done, I'd say:

Um... yeah, I tried to do a stained glass window effect with a cross in it, but it didn't turn out right :/
I've just got to do the arms and hands then I'll probably be finished
Oh, and I can't shade clothing

OMG that's better than mine!! The BG and the clothes look kinda pillowed, but otherwise oh my gosh their faces.

Better? I changed the BG (Did I mention I can't shade clothing?)

I won't have time to do the arms and hands, but seeing as they're in a church (kind of) with their eyes shut, it'd be obvious that they're praying, right?

Yeah that looks nice! Those really look like portraits! I think you're okay since you have that cross in the background.
