RE: Ni no Kuni getting english release - TomGuycott - 09-20-2011 The first one I saw (because I think it was one of the earlier ones dubbed, although Naussica had an EARLY dubbed release that had cheesy 80's style dubbing) was Princess Mononoke. I DO enjoy a lot of it, but overall as a film it isn't QUITE as good as the others I've seen, and unfortunately it does happen rather slowly, even though it does have crazy moments of action when it does have action. One that I like a lot is Porco Rosso, and I usually recommend it since not a lot of people I know have seen it. However, it does have some slower parts, but at least it has the chance to be light-hearted, something that can't be found in Princess Mononoke too often. RE: Ni no Kuni getting english release - Goemar - 09-26-2011 Big Ghibli fan but not a huge fan of RPGs (to me this looks a lot like Pokemon... kinda). My Neighbor Totoro is one of the best things ever released and the other films have pretty decent stories (well the ones directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Basically Dazz is wrong, this is proved by me saying Dazz is wrong twice within the same brackets). So high hopes for this. |
