Using tags just encase.
apparently there are daedric quests you can start by finding the alters, I found a few but put off doing anything. My friend did some and got the ability to summon a dremora, maybe you can get a heart from killing your own dremora, I'll have to ask him. There's also hearts lying around the dwermer ruins if you go deep enough and look extremely close.

Thanks, I managed to find some from odd shops around different towns. And I did run into a couple shrines, I was able to complete my armor set + weapons with ease. I really enjoyed the Daedric quests, the ones I did were quite creepy and left me feeling odd and like a bad person afterwords.

If you do the Dawnstar Museum quest, which is started when the Courier hands you a letter in regards to the Museum, it leads you to Mehrunes Dagon's shrine. If you finish the quest you'll get two Hearts, and then you can enter the shrine to grab two more. There's also another Heart in Jorrvaskr just outside of Koldak Whitemane's room. With these five Hearts you can easily make full Daedric Armour plus one weapon of your choice, you'll have to supply your own Ebony of course. I've yet to summon a Daedra and kill it, so I've no idea if that's a reliable source of armour or Hearts.
Don't rely on shopkeepers, their supply is sporadic and costly.

The gold and ebony ingots and all other loot respawns in that cave as well. If only the two Daedra outside would respawn. It's a good source for gold if you remember to keep coming back every few weeks (game time weeks).

Thanks for the tip, but my toon that beat the main quest no longer needs that stuff. And if I do end up needing more Ebony, I just head on over to Gloombound Mine, it's in an Orsimer stronghold so they don't do crap to you, and it has a pretty decent number of ebony veins.

That's a pretty funny video. Was the dude playing on master? Or just got his health really low before acting silly.
RE: Skyrim General - Altrez - 12-01-2011
I dunno, I'm sure it's all staged.
I've also been watching lets play by toby games until I can actually get the game.
This guy is hilarious. He has a few voices that he switches through regularly that remind me of like... the narrator from 300, earthworm jim, and that one guy from MadTV.
Edit: He's also REALLY bad at the game, so that's funny too.
RE: Skyrim General - Rai - 12-01-2011
So last night I did some drinking and Skyrimmin' with some friends. Woke up this morning to find it still on, but paused. So I unpaused it. And what's the first thing this woman in front of me says?
"We're married! "
And I remember none of how this happened.
Past that, I'm loving every bit of it. Playing an assassin-build wood elf. Good times. Level 25 now.

That looks pretty damn amazing. I hear the guy who did all of that GTA 4 graphics modding is working on a graphics mod for Skyrim as well.
RE: Skyrim General - Keychain - 12-18-2011
Welp, 150 hours done in. Got kinda bored of the game now! I beat the main story so now I can't find any motivation to do the side missions (the non-generated ones.)

Try starting a new character with some restrictive but fun challenges.
