by the way, do you know of the proper way to make sure normals export properly? Yuna's High-Poly has a small indirect lighting on pieces of her hair after i export to .obj format. shes the only one that has the problem. i kept the .max to hopefully get it fixed someday
I do, there are 3 ways you can do this.

1. Import the obj, apply a "Smooth" modifier and set it to 1 and collapse the modifier after that.

2. Do the same process on the max scene before exporting to obj.

3. Apply a "Edit Normals" modifier and weld it at a value of 0.001 or something similar and ofcourse collapse the modifier after.

PS. You can collapse a modifier by right clicking the modifier and select 1 of the 2 collapse options.

Gotcha.

Quote:also, i found all the Aeon's "Dark" models and their textures. since they are essentially the same model with texture edits, could i PM you the textures when they are all ready and you put em in to the already uploaded files?
Sure. As long as they're organized so I know what goes where, it won't be a problem.

Quote:lastly, i noticed you guys host everything. after everything is uploaded and such, is it alright if i use yer links for downloads and images in this thread's first post?
Sure, not a problem. I would link to the download page for the model rather than directly to the zip, though.

Ack, I forgot to upload these! Do you still have the files to upload? All of the Rapidshare links broke. Sorry about this!

RE: Final Fantasy X stuff - DameonLG - 02-17-2013

Yeah, I was about to say...it's cool you've ripped all of these, but sadly I can't download most of the equipment ones.

RE: Final Fantasy X stuff - ramonM64 - 02-17-2013

don't worry dude. i sent all those models, in those broken links, to Peardian a week or so ago (my bad for not posting about it sooner here). It's only a matter of time before they're uploaded directly to the site this time.

RE: Final Fantasy X stuff - Peardian - 02-23-2013

Sorry for the delay, but I have uploaded all the new ones and am updating the Aeons with their dark textures as I type this. Nice job on these!

For the monsters you could just write "Float Eye Family" on the icon. The F just makes me think "female."
Loving the rips, btw.
