RE: GiFTPiA Models - senjen - 03-20-2012 i don't know why the UV's went like that honestly but here i re ripped him again http://www.mediafire.com/?hnbvi30h3brhjse Big Icon Small Icon RE: GiFTPiA Models - senjen - 03-20-2012 I hope this time its Worthy Since i didn't touch anything with any of the Pokkle models except just applying the textures ^^ RE: GiFTPiA Models - Peardian - 03-20-2012 That's much better, yes. At first I thought something was still wrong with his shoes, but watching a video showed me that's how his shoes are supposed to look. As for the Parole outfit model, the UVs seem fine, but there is still definitely some skewing. A good part of the model to reference is the ball chained to his leg. It's easy to tell if it's skewed, because the polygons are so organized and symmetrical, making any skewing stand out. Also, note that skewing happens to the entire scene, so it's best to try and tackle it while the all of the scene's geometry is still present. It may not be obvious if a character is skewed, but it will be very apparent if the door or vending machine next to him is out of whack. Also, could you make a new Game icon? The one you have is nice, but it's redundant to have the game logo shown when the name is right above it. RE: GiFTPiA Models - senjen - 03-20-2012 hmm strange i thought Roxas358 fixed the Pokkle (On Parole) model on page 2 Post #19? Here's a new icon found the same image online without the title's name on it ^^ RE: GiFTPiA Models - Peardian - 03-21-2012 I didn't look at the one Roxas358 posted, I looked at the one you posted after seeing what Roxas did. As for the icon, the image is better, yes, but you accidentally covered up the dark gray border that goes around the image. RE: GiFTPiA Models - senjen - 03-21-2012 ahh i see i covered the dark area by accident here`s the new one ok i used your method from post #33 to do a different model, http://www.mediafire.com/?pyahhq77pip7sxq Big Icon Small Icon these 3 will be my last 3 models to for a bit due to personal issues i am having so yeah i will eventually rip more but at a way slower pace RE: GiFTPiA Models - senjen - 03-21-2012 here's the parole model using your method, from post #33 as well http://www.mediafire.com/?xjhs6gr5eao55hg Big Icon Small Icon when you upload these 3 models they should go under the name characters RE: GiFTPiA Models - Peardian - 03-21-2012 Pokkle On Parole seems good, but Mappo has very noticeable skewing. You can't see it from the front, but it's obvious if you look at it from the top. RE: GiFTPiA Models - senjen - 03-21-2012 hi i'm just wondering which axis is Mappo skewing on? The X, Y, or Z Axis? RE: GiFTPiA Models - Peardian - 03-21-2012 It's along the axis that the character is facing. Depending on the program you use, this is either Y or Z. RE: GiFTPiA Models - senjen - 03-21-2012 this should look alot better now i used what you said above http://www.mediafire.com/?jws51fzbg9dujzb Big Icon Small Icon RE: GiFTPiA Models - Peardian - 03-22-2012 You fixed some of the skewing, yes, but now there's a bigger problem: he's squished! Just compare him with your previous attempt. RE: GiFTPiA Models - senjen - 03-22-2012 ahh i see why he went squished i touched his X axis as well anywho i fixed it this time i just touched the Y axis cause that is the axis that has the problem in Blender, touching the Z axis does nothing in blender xp it is on Post #41 RE: GiFTPiA Models - Peardian - 03-23-2012 You fixed the tiny bit of skewing that was left, but he's still very squished. RE: GiFTPiA Models - senjen - 03-23-2012 weird cause i didn't touch anything else on the model 0.0 i believe he looks like that in game |
