RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Davy Jones - 05-04-2012 Kraken: Smithy's sheet has 10 battle frames, but there are actually 15. I would keep it, we can deal with him later. Multiple sheet stuff: No idea about it, the editor is unable to show the recolours. Plus, most of DarkMech's sheets are incomplete anyway. What can we about it? Well, I can cut out the overworld Kraken from Smithy's sheet and make a new icon for it. And with the recolours, I can try to palette swap the stuff I've already ripped. But yeah, just keep them for a while. RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Dazz - 05-04-2012 But then there will be multiple sheets, and it'll be an even larger scrambled mess... I'm getting very frustrated with this game... RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Davy Jones - 05-04-2012 If it bothers you so much, I can cut the recolours from DarkMech's stuff and make a single sheet out of it. RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Dazz - 05-04-2012 I really don't know anymore, I'm too confused by what needs what happening. I'm pretty sure everyone else is confused too... RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Dazz - 05-04-2012 Also, you've made an icon for Gressil, and no icon for Cerberus. Would it be possible to easily rip the overworld of enemies? Because that'd save a lot of issues with duplicate sheets RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Davy Jones - 05-04-2012 yeah it's a little bit complicated because there's already so much crap in the sections. As far as I can see, the zips are still in the queue. RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Dazz - 05-04-2012 Yeah, I've not done the zips yet, just give me a while for those, I've run out of steam... Haha! I'll get on it though, don't worry. Here you go: http://min.us/mFgIBm2sD/8 By the way, these are all overworld enemies & bosses which I can rip, I can't do anything about the other ones from GS1. RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Davy Jones - 05-04-2012 Sorry Dazz, but I have 14 new rips for you No monsters, but backgrounds: http://min.us/mbcbkmKGX4/28 One exception is The Wise One, I would count him as antagonist. RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Garamonde - 05-04-2012 (05-04-2012, 08:22 AM)Dazz Wrote: I really don't know anymore, I'm too confused by what needs what happening. I'm pretty sure everyone else is confused too... Yeah... I had downloaded the monsters and was about to start uploading them some days ago, but I was finding it difficult to keep track of what went in what games and what went in both when I was starting to upload the first sheet, and since the list of names wasn't alphabetically ordered, I just thought that you could handle it better and quicker. I'll handle the BGs though, so don't worry over those. RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Davy Jones - 05-04-2012 Maybe it's wiser to submit them in one format (zip/sheet) first and differentiate them into GS1 and 2 per folder and not per list. Couldn't imagine that it's such a fuss xD Btw, next background batch is still in progress RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Dazz - 05-05-2012 Now getting those Alpha sets up, but just a little advise for you in the future dude; When saving icons, instead of naming them "Icon *name*" name them "*name* icon" - might seem like such a small thing, but it makes viewing them in the same folder much easier. As this way, you have the sheet then the icon, instead of 20 sheets, 50 icons, 30 sheets. Since we upload to the system (at least I do) with drag and drop, it saves me having to hunt down the sheet, then the icon entirely separately. Not really vital, but it just saves everyone a little time, even yourself I'm sure. When we manually uploaded to the site, I used to name them icon_sheetname too, until I realised how silly it was to do it that way... Hopefully a lot of the confusion will disappear after I get these up though! RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Davy Jones - 05-05-2012 Okay, I will name them like this in the future http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/gs2/sheet/47038 The new icon is correct, but can you replace the sheet with mine? He's obviously incomplete. http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/gs/sheet/13261 Same for him, you can also replace the old icon which has a typo and the wrong font/size anyway. And a new batch: http://min.us/m0RBl6xx1/3 Things without sheet or icon are replacements: - Dehkan Plateau: People can now use their 16x16 grid instead of putting the map in position by hand to edit the stuff into tilesets. Sheet is also slightly smaller. - Daila Exterior icon: Typo, I always write "Dalia". - Osenia Cliffs & Destroyed Ship icon: More details in description (added "Osenia Cliffs") - Eastern Alhafra & Brigg's Ship: Instead just of "Ship" I found the out that it's Brigg's Ship. - Dinaria/Karst & Hagartio/Agatio icon: Minor typo (GS2 bosses) Overworld Kraken is a GS1 boss. RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Dazz - 05-05-2012 Not done the new batch, but Dullahan was changed, you just need to hard refresh your browser, also Kraken has been replaced RE: Golden Sun 2 - The Lost Age - Davy Jones - 05-05-2012 Found some stuff that can be deleted: http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/gs2/sheet/43965 http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/gs2/sheet/13292 http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/gs2/sheet/46828 http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/gs2/sheet/46829 The animal sheet covers all of them, they're now duplicates. |
