I hate to say it, but all of these models are squished. You can't just assume that it rips perfectly. They look fine from the front, but did you look at them from the side? Fortunately, they are only squished on one axis (it seems), but in different amounts. I'm afraid you will have to fix all of them. RE: Earthworm Jim Models - senjen - 07-20-2012 So which axis are they squished on the Y axis and are they really squished or a small amount squished? and yes i looked at them from the side but all of them are hard to tell if they are squished mostly due to the fact they are n64 rips and are hard to tell for me RE: Earthworm Jim Models - Peardian - 07-20-2012 A more accurate description would be stretched, so I apologize if that confused you. Look at Earthworm Jim's model. It looks perfectly fine from the front, but weird from the side. What does that tell you? RE: Earthworm Jim Models - senjen - 07-21-2012 ahh i think i know what you mean now i fixed his y axis ^^ if this is correct i will start fixing the others as well ^^ RE: Earthworm Jim Models - Peardian - 07-25-2012 You made it better... but only by a little bit. He's still stretched too much. Have you ever considered taking a screenshot of the character facing sideways and comparing it to the rip? It may help you see how much it is stretched. RE: Earthworm Jim Models - senjen - 07-25-2012 sure here are the two pictures for comparison Here's the original rip deleted got taken done Here's what i did with the y axis deleted got taken done RE: Earthworm Jim Models - Peardian - 07-25-2012 I meant of the character in-game. That way you can see what he's supposed to look like. RE: Earthworm Jim Models - senjen - 07-25-2012 oh sorry about being confused by your post here a ingame screenshot of him sideways ^^ RE: Earthworm Jim Models - Peardian - 07-25-2012 That's good. Now, I don't need to see the screenshot. That is for you to reference. RE: Earthworm Jim Models - senjen - 07-25-2012 alright i copied his exact same size as his screenshot ingame ^^ http://filebeam.com/8af96d80d8772c8e1a9828f5a02746d6 RE: Earthworm Jim Models - Peardian - 07-25-2012 It's hard to tell because of the wacky character design, but it looks good. By the way, you should take the time to try and study the models as you are comparing them to the screenshots to see when they are correct. You really need to improve your spatial skills, and this is a good opportunity to do that. |
