That's alot.

I know what you mean by most of those, with the whole "to much copy paste", but there is so much controversy at MG on this subject.

"Mewtwo is supposed to be stiff, he refrains from moving so much to conserve his energy."

"Teh animashunz r teh choppeh" (Which they aren't actually, you'd be surprised)

So I did my best to try to smoothen things out while still trying to make him a tranquil badass....
There's a big difference between lack of movement to conserve energy and being stiff as a rock.

I can see where they get that idea from though. Mewtwo moves very little and very slowly in the game, but at no point does he ever stay still. There's always a subtle and slow movement. for instance, his F Smash has him leaning forward ever so slightly, but enough to be both noticeable and effective in giving his move some range. He's a living being, even if he's supposed to be the ultimate pokemon or form of life or whatever BS he spouts in the movie, thus even he can't keep a perfectly frozen stance. Keep that in mind when and if you fix these problems.

I'll see what I can do... =|

It doesn't need much, but once you've edited it, you'll see how much better it is.
The tail looks like it has a ball on the end of it and he looks like he has fingers instead of the little ball things are the two biggest problems I see.

Lol, both those things aren't really my fault! XD

RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Superliger - 09-08-2008

after looking at the poke sprite the horn things look ok it's just the baseball at the end of the tail that needs to be fixed.

RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - uxiefan102 - 09-08-2008

I really love these sprites, they're amazing! The style of the sprites is one of my favourite things about it. Me and my sister are making a game called super smash bros combat... would it be ok if we could use these sprites in it? We'll give all the needed credit.

RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Ton - 09-08-2008

I played with it a little.

I guess it's ok with me, but you might have to ask ssbkid as well...

Big Grin I like the new tail, but the shading on the oval part looks off compared to the rest of the tail. And the ear looks a little weird, but that's probably just me...

And I will try to get more opinions from the devs on that new palette, as well.

RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Nintendo_6444 - 09-08-2008

I still don't get why his tail has a ball on the end. Maybe only I saw his tail without the damn ball in melee and stuff... =/

RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Vipershark - 09-08-2008

It still had the ball. It was just much smaller and oval shaped.

RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Brave_Shyguy - 09-09-2008

I know this is CheDDars topic(sorry ChedWink), but to end the discussion over whos Mewtwo is better, I thought I'd post this here:
That is his rival's(on the Mcleodgaming forums) Mewtwo, and we have spent weeks debating and having flamewars over whos is better to put into SSF2, and we want to know what you spriters think.Surprise

RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Pik - 09-09-2008

Cheddars' is better.

RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Geo the Fox - 09-09-2008

...Who the hell was talking about who's is better in this topic?

Cheddar's is better anyway.

That sheet's anatomically incorrect, NONE of the poses are portrayed that way, the special effects are pitiful and I'd daresay even taken from other games, and a lot of poses are repeating. Moreso than cheddar's.

It's funny.

He kept saying "If you get a real spriter's opinion, they're going to like mine better!"

Apparently that's not the case.
