Its getting there make the foot facing the viewer shorter by one pixel so it is aligned with the other foot.
The head needs more work, the ears could be smaller or even closer to his head. Maybe a mouth too.

I think The pinker one looks better.

The Z-saber REDUX. I decided to fixed up my old z-saber sprite a small bit, gave it a more curved blade. It also comes in 3 different flavors; Legendary Lime Green, Power Nightmare Berry-Punch, and Throwback Blue.

Their left eyes leave a lone white pixel beside his nose, and that is distracting. Avoid lone pixels, they make things distracting. The dark shading and outlines make the sprite too dark and everything melts into a pixel cluster. This is bad for readability, try less dark colors for shading.

I...I think he's finished. YES! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you The Lightning Lord, The Jolted Juggernaut, The Blue Bolt of Bright Brilliance, give it up foooooooor BOLT BRILLIANT! Finally I got to around to rapping this guy up and I am more than pleased with the results.

This blue badass is the undisputed ruler of the Bolt Kingdom within Level Down, he rules with an iron fist(no pun intended). He's the strongest, toughest, cockiest boss out there and has a mouth as big as his muscles.

hooray! you've got some of banding going on along the white part of his "collar", and the arm to our right has a gradient effect going on in the shading.

EDIT: also, the darkest blue areas don't have enough contrast. probably make the lighter shade a bit lighter + hue shift towards a little lighter blue.

The daimond on his head needs to be centered and his left arm (our right) has a less defined shadow than on his other arm. Other than that and a few nitpicky flaws here and there, I love the design.

I don't think his feet should be moving like that in the second idle animation. People don't just randomly slide around.

I tried to convey a bit a back and forth style of motion with idle animation. I'm aware that people don't slide like that unless they have grease on their soles. I tired to mimick something Ken Masters' idle from SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium.

As for Bolt Brilliant, you might want to move the "bump" that connects the head and the body a bit higher, as it appears to be a blob that sticks out of the front a little bit. An upward shift of a few pixels should be all that's necessary to fix that.
