I didn't beat the game because I got stuck at one point (I think I was Bunny link at the time? idk) or something. He's in the Signpost Maze and teaches you the Frog Song of Soul which you need to resurrect the Flying Chicken to get to Eagle Tower, and awaken Turtle Rock to enter... well, Turtle Rock. But also I love love love the artstyle for this new Mario and Luigi game. It actually kind of looks like the Mario and Luigi concept art! Which is fantastic! RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Previous - 02-15-2013 Yea right, got him mixed up with the moblin king >< Well it's been a while! RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Gold - 02-16-2013 Seeing the NPCs from the first game got me excited that they might return to the bean bean kingdom but now that I take a minute to pay attention I notice that none of the enemies are remotely bean-like... RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Koopaul - 02-16-2013 Yeah I don't care if this game uses that sprite style. I'm just happy to get a game like this. Right? Huh? RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Kriven - 02-16-2013 I was actually impressed with a Mario model that didn't look lifeless. I haven't seen one of those for a few years! I haven't seen one of those for a few years! Now that you mention it. It sure is nice to see a model of Mario different than usual. If only they stylized Mario like that for their main platform games. RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Ton - 02-17-2013 Maybe you have to give Luigi a Happy Ending for the happy ending? RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Goemar - 02-17-2013 I'm surprised this doesn't used NSMB graphics. Good work Nintendo. Good work. RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Garamonde - 02-17-2013 well it is a Mario & Luigi RPG series game, they have to put more effort into it because it has shown so much promise. RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Helmo - 02-17-2013 Uh I wanted a 3D M&L, thats the point of putting it on a stronger system I thought RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Gors - 02-18-2013 (02-15-2013, 01:14 PM)Kami Wrote: If they don't use series staple of sprites in this game, I will be disspoint. Gray antialias Gray antialias everywhere RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Mr. Jam - 02-18-2013 Honestly, I don't think it would really be the same without the over-use of the antialiasing whether or not they use it and they choose to change, the game will still be just as amazing RE: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Koopaul - 02-18-2013 (02-16-2013, 11:05 AM)Kriven Wrote: I was actually impressed with a Mario model that didn't look lifeless. I haven't seen one of those for a few years! I'd assume the NSMB series or even the Galaxy series. Nintendo has been playing it safe with Mario's look (among other things) lately and it's gotten to where things are looking a bit bland style wise. I've personally felt that, although enjoyable, the recent Mario games made Mario fell... how to put it... like a mindless meat puppet. He's just there, running along with a single care/thought. |
