RE: M&L3 - Phantom Killah - 10-02-2008 Why is there some kind of golden Bob omb with Mario in that scene where Bowser eats them..? Partners? RE: M&L3 - Ton - 10-02-2008 I noticed that too. No idea. RE: M&L3 - silent sniper - 10-02-2008 PiT didn't get me addicted like SS did. Probably because of the babies. I'll give this a try when it's out. RE: M&L3 - Perigi - 10-02-2008 Personally I found MLSS more addictive than ML: PIT probably cause of the babies being added, I didn't find anything wrong with that, but It just didn't seem like a real Mario RPG If the older Bros met there younger selves Anyway bout the game, It seems to have a paper Mario kinda touch with it, like in the original (paper Mario N64) you played as both Mario AND Peach to progress, so I'm guessing it's the same with this (Bowser, Mario and Luigi). Fawful seems to be the main villian in this, as the enemies have his type of... eyes? That golden thing (bomb-omb as people said?) might be something (or someone) Important in the game's storyline. So in my conclsion, this looks like a game that I would buy and as for others as well. RE: M&L3 - Confessor - 10-03-2008 MLSS was an awesome game, PiT was shit. And stop complaining about the guy who wants Yoshi playable, you're all retarded. RE: M&L3 - Koopaul - 10-03-2008 PiT was good it's just that MLSS was just better by comparison. RE: M&L3 - Kairos - 10-03-2008 I liked PiT, SS was just way batter. It looks like Bowser will be playable like he was in tTYD. RE: M&L3 - JDogindy - 10-03-2008 (10-02-2008, 03:14 PM)Ngamer01 Wrote: I'm not going to like it if M&L 3 is another 20 hour game. I played Superstar Saga and Partners in Time. Then they were over (as I beat them) and I wanted more. Also, I felt that Partners in Time was linear. Here's hoping that they capitalize on this by adding a lot more stuff into the game. Having the Engrish parody who has fury as the main bad guy is a good start. RE: M&L3 - Clutch - 10-03-2008 The main problem I had with Partners in Time was that the boss fights were ridiculously time consuming. You could spend over an hour on a single boss and still lose within few turns. I hope that's not the case here. RE: M&L3 - Rakia - 10-03-2008 What? I never lost to a boss in PiT. Max they took was 30 minutes, and that's an extreme case. RE: M&L3 - Kairos - 10-03-2008 The only boss I had major problems with as Sunnsyde, and the final boss, but, that's it. RE: M&L3 - Phantom Killah - 10-03-2008 How long the bosses took is entriely dependant on how many enemies you battled. If you avoid all fights except boss battles, then it takes a long time to kill the bosses as opposed to if you fought every enemy you came across. So they might take 30 minutes for one person and two hours for someone else. RE: M&L3 - Dragon Tamer♂ Sir Repiteo - 10-03-2008 Elder Princess Shroob is only tough if you are unprepared. I can't wait for this game! RE: M&L3 - Alpha Six - 10-03-2008 ANY boss is tough if you're unprepared :l RE: M&L3 - Ninspriterx - 10-03-2008 I'm like a lvl. 50 in M&LS and a lvl. 70 in PiT with all characters. So I suppose that makes me a true fan of the series. Can't wait for this one. Also can't wait to sprite anyone who's not in the game. |
