Once Friday Rolls around, I'll be back with updates that are fixed up, animated and the head nice and animated. I like the idea to make her brain surging and the head to glisten. So I'll get to it. RE: PRIME TIME - COMPLETE - Not Chris2balls - 06-08-2008 The problem is that although it looks good, it still seems pretty flat. The 'skull' does not seem long enough, and the tendrils are too stubby and fat. I suggest you add a slight curl to the tendril animation, in the opposite direction. It looks GOOD! RE: PRIME TIME - COMPLETE - Purple_Grenadier - 06-08-2008 I recommend that you re-sprite the inside bits on their own, and just work some alpha transparency over the semitransparent gel-flesh. Which should have it's own sheet. It might make for a pretty tight effect. I'm not sure if it's anything you've ever tried before, but I'd bet you're the type to work up to a challenge. Your work certainly makes it seem that way. =o After replaying all of the Impact Crater just for you, the only critique I can give you regarding that thing's anatomy (...anatomy? form? figure? shape?) is that the top of it's head should flow into the top tendril, where with yours they all seem to be attached underneath it. Also the Essence's eyes seemed to bug out a bit more in game, (that could be because they glow like the sun... but you may want to play with them...) either way, I like it they way you've presented them. It's more menacing. It fits. Also tiny lights flow down the dreadlocks, while the Essence is floating. And it's blue could be a bit deeper. Yours is almost cerulean, while Prime seems more like Persian blue, or Ultramarine. Well you asked for C+C... edit: oh yeah, it's awesome as it is just so you know RE: PRIME TIME - COMPLETE - GadgetTR - 06-08-2008 On the Metroid Prime, there seems to be a bit of a "jerk" (lol jerk) between the first & second frames. I would suggest adding a 1.5 frame. That's my only crit. The rest looks awesome : D |
