I'm no liking the way death looks
It's either the design or the way the colors were applied, the straight hues look pretty boring

I agree, Death looks out of place due to her colors.

Yeah, I'm solo on this game; but I'll be getting lots of help.
I'll be fixing Death, no worries, shouldn't be a problem with that.

I'll be having different sky races. I started off simple with cloud people.
I did this because say; The old cloud man teaches you cloud control.

Important things like that.

I think the cloud people look kinda bad with the black lines. Because they are not really a solid object, maybe give them a dark grey line or something? It just really contrasts with the colors it already has.

I like this a lot, Nin. =D Despite other opinions, I like the idea of people being made out of clouds, it's refreshing.

I'm trying to keep the sprite style focused and not fancy though. Like any thing you can interact with or touch (like ground or NPC's) will have a black outline. Backgrounds and such will have no black-line.

So I'm just about done planning out the mechanics.

This looks so awesome. But the puppy's tail looks a bit too long to me, and the cloud people may be a bit too simplistic... a little more shading maybe :#
