RE: New stages - Zabi - 08-22-2009 Especially I like the doomship and Advance Wars Stage. A new Starfox stage should probably be that Dinosaur planet (haven't played the game). Perhaps changing between two parts (ruins / jungle) like in Castle Siege in Brawl would be interesting. I just throw my ideas of (not that creative) stages in: Bowser's Castle (Mario series) The thwomps could fly high and fall continually and serve as plattforms. When they fall on a character they cause damage and knockback similiar to Kirby's stone. The axe in the center appears from time to time. Hitting it causes the wooden plattform to fall down into the lava (but reappears after some time). Twilight realm (Zelda series) That would be quite a big stage. That cyan plattform on the right moves like in the game. Haven't thought of that much features, perhaps getting dark or shadow birds attacking the characters. Mt. Dedede (Kirby series) (I only know the Kirby Super Star (not Ultra) design, but that's not important.) A pretty basic stage. When you run into the ropes you will bounce back. Maybe you could put some characters who didn't make the cut or side characters in the audience. I know, these are not the most creative and original stages, but I mostly thought of what stages would be cool to see in the game =]. I can come up with some more, if you guys want. I could see Mt. Dedede going somewhere. Its been in many games (including the first) and I like the idea of Kirby characters being in the crowd. If this doesnt work, maybye it could be on top of the castle. RE: New stages - Teeks - 08-22-2009 Well, you also have to consider that if Little Mac was to be a playable character, his stage would also be a boxing ring. Including two seems to have no point though I love Mt. Dedede as a stage option. It might work out, and we could even add Kabula as a hazard or something. RE: New stages - Ekoi - 08-23-2009 While the idea of using a Casino Zone stage would be neat, I felt that I should throw out another idea for a Sonic stage. How about Perfect Chaos? The stage could slowly move horizontally around the watery titan, and he could occasionally launch attacks towards the fighters. RE: New stages - Ton - 08-23-2009 I'd love a Bowser's Castle stage. As for Perfect Chaos, maybe we could use the tops of buildings, some of which are ruined or toppled? That way players can fall from the buildings. I think we're focusing too much on stages with floors at the moment and ignoring "in the sky" stages. RE: New stages - MaverickETC - 08-23-2009 I vote: Bowser's Castle (Super Mario Bros.) I think it was pretty weird that he didn't have his own stage in Brawl. Whenever I'd Mario-themed Brawls, I'd have to fight him on stages like Mario Kart that didn't really fit that well lol Or maybe Koopa's Road (Super Mario 64).... Youngtown (Mother 1/Earthbound 0) Character isn't available. Emerald Hil Zone (Sonic 2) Since Tails is in, maybe he could have the stage from his first appearance as Sonic had his. However, Emerald Hill Zone would feel like a "Green Hill Zone with texture hacks" too me, and a little too basic. Also, being the HUGE Sonic fan, I'd really like to spice it up with a more unique stage like Metropolis Zone, Scrap Brain, Palmtree Panic, Station Square, Angel Island, Green Grove, Metal Harbor. There's millions. lol Mario Party (Mario Party Series) Potential. Could be alot like Wario Ware with a few extra things. Freezeflame Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy) I'd love to see how Smash would be with a Galaxy feel to it . And with the Freezeflame Galaxy, I think things could probably get a bit hectic. Planet Zebes/Unknown Area (Super Metroid/Metroid Series) I really want a stage for Kraid where you actually interact with him (Ex. jump on his spikes, hit his third eye for an event, etc.). But I had an other idea where you're located on some random area on Zebes and random bosses from Super Metroid like Crocomire, Spore Spawn, or Mother Brain come from a dark background and.....does stuff....kinda like Spear Pillar but the bosses change during the same match. And you could break the treasure chest to get items. RE: New stages - Ton - 08-23-2009 I definitely want a Mario Galaxy stage. As for the Sonic Stage, I was thinking Chemical Plant. RE: New stages - Koopaul - 08-23-2009 Hm I think Angel Island would be better yes? Also a Mario Party Stage where the actual fighting grounds move around a giant game board landing on different spaces affects the stages terrain. Blue is safe. Red is hazardous. Green is strange effects. But that's probably too hard for us to do. RE: New stages - MFreak - 08-24-2009 How about an Excitebike stage. Every once in a while the Bikes will come through and take out anybody who isn't fast enough to get out of the way. Something I tossed together in paint RE: New stages - :Star*Lite: - 08-24-2009 How about Gourmet Race stage (from Kirby)? It would be like the minigame, the stage scrolls (like the Super Mario Bros. Stage fro Brawl). Maybe Kirby and DeDeDe occasionally running in the background? RE: New stages - blah475 - 08-24-2009 Some Poke'mon level suggestions Distortion World Groudon & Kyoge Battle Sealed Chamber or Snow Point Temple Hall of origin in the spear pillar RE: New stages - Wes - 08-24-2009 How about Victory Road for a Pokemon stage? Its been in every main series Pokemon game ever (although different ones for different regions). It could be a large stage inside the cave, with big gaps and platforms. There could be breakable rock walls and hills that could be landslided. Stalactites that could be knocked down off of the ceiling (if there is a ceiling. Maybe there isn't. Death by the sides (one could be walkoff and one not). Diferent levels of platforms aling the bottom and top (like the bridges in DP). Maybe even large rocks that could be rolled by pushing (only larger characters) to signify Strength.
