RE: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny - Raytheon - 09-04-2009 when did anyone say it has no good games, durrhurr assumptions. RE: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny - triptych - 09-04-2009 jak and daxter 4 is coming to the ps2 ps2 will become an awful system once i buy and finish that game RE: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny - Vipershark - 09-04-2009 sorry, I said that wrong. What I meant to say was "But to say that it's shitty?" RE: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny - Raytheon - 09-04-2009 it is |: its the same as an outdated computer. it was good in its time but now its shitty. RE: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny - GrooveMan.exe - 09-04-2009 That's a terrible analogy. Outdated computers become shitty because the software that's produced eventually stops working on said old computer. the PS2 is a standalone console, so that doesn't apply. In the same vein that previous consoles with good games (almost all of them, let's ignore shit like the Jaguar) aren't automatically rendered 'shitty' because games aren't produced for them any more. To say that something becomes shitty over time, when the only thing that really factors in is passing time would be really fucking stupid. RE: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny - Ravecat - 09-04-2009 I still play my PS2 for Armored Core Nexus, San Andreas, and a bunch of other games. I still play SNES. RE: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny - Alpha Six - 09-04-2009 i still play sega genesis, i'm more nostalgia than you >:U RE: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny - JarJar - 09-04-2009 There's still games coming out for the PS2. And Japan disagrees raytheon, the PS2 still does decent in the Japanese market since they still make games for it. Can't call it a shit system if it's still selling, people still have uses for it, and let me remind you that the PS3 slim is NOT backwards compatible. Either port to PSP or play/make a new game on PS2. As for this game, not really into Soul Calibur since I've only played one game of the series, but Kratos being in this makes me interested. RE: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny - Rosencrantz - 09-04-2009 I saw an ad for this game and saw Kratos and I was like "fuck" I need to pick up this game |
