RE: Maxim's Submissions - Maxim - 02-11-2010 Might and Magic Update: RE: Maxim's Submissions - Ton - 02-11-2010 Looking good! RE: Maxim's Submissions - Carpaccio - 02-11-2010 Are there bosses in this game? I mean like...any big cool uber bad evil things? I like villains. RE: Maxim's Submissions - Maxim - 02-11-2010 I haven't played through this game yet, but as far as i know, there are no Bosses. There are only Units, with the Black Dragon (already ripped) and the Titan as the strongest ones. If you like Villains, you should play the Game as the Necromancer. Naturally, he has the most evil looking City... RE: Maxim's Submissions - GrooveMan.exe - 02-12-2010 The battle fields are on Hex grids, aren't they? I love that kind of system; any chance of those being ripped? You're doing an excellent job so far. =D RE: Maxim's Submissions - Maxim - 02-13-2010 (02-12-2010, 06:57 PM)GrooveMan.exe Wrote: The battle fields are on Hex grids, aren't they? The Battlefield Backgrounds are stored in the Game Resource File as standard Images without the Hex Grid (the Grid can be switched on and off ingame). I already extracted the Backgrounds, but they are too big to fit them in one Image. Can i post the zipped Backgrounds as a Forum-Attachment or should i upload them to a File hosting Service? RE: Maxim's Submissions - Ultimecia - 02-13-2010 You can do both of them, just pick which one you want and upload away ;p RE: Maxim's Submissions - Maxim - 02-14-2010 Okay, here are the Battle-Backgrounds from HoMM II: Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?kymtt5mzym1 Please note that some of the Backgrounds are supposed to be animated, but i couldn't find the Animation Frames, so there are just the static Images, but still looking good. I also included the proper Overlay-Image for each BG . RE: Maxim's Submissions - Maxim - 02-15-2010 Since ripping the Units from X-Com turned out to be a complete Nightmare, i moved on to a different Game: Orcs: Humans: Misc. RE: Maxim's Submissions - Ton - 02-15-2010 Awesome! RE: Maxim's Submissions - Ultimecia - 02-15-2010 Very nice RE: Maxim's Submissions - Davy Jones - 02-16-2010 whooo RE: Maxim's Submissions - Maxim - 02-18-2010 More Warcraft Stuff: I also noticed, that two of my previously posted Warcraft-Sheets are horribly wrong. The Peon and the Peasant have way too many walking frames in their sheets, so i deleted the redundant parts. Please remove the old ones and replace them with these: Peon , Peasant. Thank You. RE: Maxim's Submissions - Ton - 02-18-2010 Awesome! you might know this; is it possible to dump/rip Diablo or Diablo 2? I have never played through any Diablo Title (except the Demo for the first one, when it came out), but installed the full Game today and even found a editor to extract the graphics. To be honest, the Graphics aren't looking that great any longer; about as good as those in Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Also, the Heroes seem to have Millions of Animation Frames for all kinds of Armor Combinations. However, i am looking forward to rip the Item Gfx and maybe take a shot at a few of the minor Characters. If you want to rip from Diablo for yourself, just google for the Programs "MPQ-Editor" (Version 1.3) and "CV 5.1". |
