...which means you're playing it wrong!!!

I can attest to that fact that if you don't know what you're doing, and you're genuinely bad at the game and manipulating it's physics, it can easily feel sluggish. Otherwise, however, it is not.

Also Zero Mission is still way too linear, there is a fuck ton less potential for sequence breaking than in super metroid

Super Mario just never get's old !
Zelda has it's awesome triats from the gool old Ocarina of time.
Metrid just isn't the same withou the good old days defeating those ugly Metroids.
Kirby...hasn't changed much from those days and now...but it's stilla very good classic !

Probably Mega Man 7 Of Pokemon Yellow

Super Mario Bros 3 for the NES is the best fucking game I have never played. I mean, isn't short, isn't easy (isn't very difficult too, except the last world, but isn't easy at all), has a great gameplay and a lot of different and original levels.
I love this game.

Am I the only person alive who DOESN'T like SMB3?
Or rather, I don't DISLIKE it per se, but... I just don't like it either.

I never get past world 2 whenever I play it because I get bored and quit.

It Is A Good Game But There Are 2 Reasons Why You Are Right. Firstly, It Does Get Boring Rather Fast Especially On The GBA Version. The Other Reason Would Be Because Mario World And 64 Are MUCH Better Than It.

SMB3 is so long it really forces you to either play every single level or skip everything by getting the 2 flutes.

wich if you think carefully, was a wise option to put these on the first map.
