Ill try to go get the bike race with this.Different type of sprite. That's a list of field sprites. There's this Japanese tool, ChronoCharView, that's been translated. It's a sprite editor for Chrono Trigger, but it also works well as a viewer. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 09-20-2013 Why thank you, helpful stranger! Well Ton, if were missin any Pc, Npc, Monster or Object, we can get it with that. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 09-20-2013 Seems that way. Let me know if it's worth downloading, haha. I want to make sure it's worth trying to open on this old computer of mine. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - daemoth - 09-20-2013 (09-20-2013, 08:36 PM)Ton Wrote: Seems that way. Well, its pretty nice, however, i think we pretty much have all what it have to offer. We could also use it as a checklist. Edit: I checked the rest of the map list of your thread and i will have to go get the backgrounds and sfx with vsnes of the remaining maps. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 09-20-2013 Hmm, mine is just loading a garbled mess. I guess I need a certain ROM. EDIT: Got it! EDIT 2: Looks like Melchior is the placeholder NPC. He has a lot of entries here. He also has an unused palette. It looks like a lot of the effects (Telepod's lightning, water, wind, and fire, Tubset's "swril", etc) are also stored as NPC sprites. Gonna keep looking. EDIT 3: Imps and Rolies have the same tileset, which explains the "Roly Rider" enemy. That also means there are tons of unused palettes. Gnasher, Naga-ette, and Ruminator also share palettes, so there are a lot of unused ones there as well. Interestingly, Mammon Machine and Panel don't have sprites stored in the game at all and are just background objects. EDIT 4: The Man-Eating Plants share tiles with Imps and Octopuses. Same deal with palettes. See above. This explains Octo Rider, but it also reveals that all of the new Imp enemies in the DS version of the game aren't new at all. Their palettes existed in the SNES ROM all this time. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 09-20-2013 And I guess this is as good a time as any to post this: That big rectangular thing in the top center is the beta sealed door. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - TomGuycott - 09-21-2013 I still can't figure the pre release out to get all those monsters with changes. Apparently Zeal's big mask face is different too. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 09-21-2013 Oh, neat. I didn't know that. To load the beta ROM it'll probably take some rewriting of the program's code. I'd love to see a rip of the Zombor enemies with the long scythe arms. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - daemoth - 09-21-2013 Never heard of that pre release version, interresting. Just finished Black Omen, its freakin huge. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 09-21-2013 I saw! O_O Gorgeous job! Yes it is huge, but it's all the blinking/moving lights that scared me off. Again, I hope you don't mind, but I added the "?" to your icon and the smaller background from the irst hall of the dungeon. Plus, I had one more Panel color than you, so I put that on the sheet as well. Awesome, awesome job. Now I'll be humming that music to myself all day. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - daemoth - 09-21-2013 About Heckran Cave Water Sfx, i found the parts, but im not able to assemble them. If someone wanna try, be my guess. Heckran Cave Fix RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 09-21-2013 There are a lot of map segments that aren't there either. Let me get come screenshots. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 09-21-2013 Nice work with Death Peak! I think I forgot to mention that the Time Freeze we were trying to get the graphics from has its sprites in the ChronoCharView as well.
