HE would be pleased! (I did it myself, actually, but I don't feel like ripping any other trophies, tbh.) At the beginning of this thread, there's a site that RTB owns with his MaxScript for importing models, and a toolset for converting GTX to DDS. Once they're converted to DDS, you can convert them to PNG using Paint.NET or if you want to convert a bunch at the same time, Noesis. Does anybody know of a Noesis importing technique? This may very well change , so keep your eyes peeled here for updates If you'd like to get 3DS Max, you could get it here: http://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/3ds-max RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - supersmashball - 07-27-2015 How about scripts? Does it depend on version? And how do import? I want to make King Dedede. The scripts are provided by RTB here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27874399/Models/SmashBrosU.html along with other steps. He gives out the links on the page. Happy ripping! Also, I suggest using the 2012 version of the script and Auto Desk Max 2014. I believe it doesn't, I have 2012, but I really don't think it does. 1. Get the files from the MediaFire link 2. Get the texture tool and maxscript 3. Use the BMS script to extract the textures from the NUT file 4. Convert them using the texConv2 tool 5. OPTIONAL: Convert them to PNG using Noesis or Paint.NET 6. Open 3DSMax and go into MaxScript > Run Script 7. Select the model, and have the textures in the same directory (if you have the textures as PNG check the checkbox for using PNG textures) 8. Once imported, export it to a better format, and go from there |
