RE: Game cast- vote here - Ton - 08-19-2009 OK, I think Pichu is all taken care of. Let's move on. Can we think of movesets for these characters?; Sukapon, Saki, Layton, Starfy, Captain Rainbow If not that will help us decide if we should use them as ACs or PCs. RE: Game cast- vote here - Teeks - 08-19-2009 Teeks (3:07:27 PM): Starfy I know and support cause I beat the Legendary Starfy and he lends himself to the game perfectly, even though he is a spinner and people think that's too Meta-Knigth/Sonic. Teeks (3:076 PM): But check it http://www.spriters-resource.com/ds/legendofstafy4/sheet/13166 Teeks (3:07:51 PM): His standard B could be his normal spin, which could deflect items as well Teeks (3:08:04 PM): Scroll down on the sheet and you'll see him with a pointy head Teeks (3:08:16 PM): That's his super spin, which helps you kill enemies faster and move faster Teeks (3:08:24 PM): That could be his up B which could be steered Ton (3:08:29 PM): looks liek a Ton (3:080 PM): yes Ton (3:083 PM): exactly Ton (3:09:04 PM): row 8 Teeks (3:09:03 PM): Then directly below that is his down B which in the game, is used to break through crates and walls. He spins down really fast, stabbing things in the way, but it can't be controlled Ton (3:09:06 PM): Ditto? Ton (3:09:24 PM): hmmm sounds good Teeks (3:09:24 PM): Row 8 is his jump and double jump lol Teeks (3:10:24 PM): His side B, I'm still trying to figure out Ton (3:101 PM): yeah Ton (3:103 PM): hmmm Ton (3:10:43 PM): How about he pulls out a bed Ton (3:10:46 PM): and goes to sleep Ton (3:10:49 PM): Teeks (3:10:58 PM): But his final Smash would definently be the Monstar suit, which isn't on there. But in the game, he turns into this cute little dragon things and breathes fire Ton (3:11:10 PM): dawww Ton (3:11:21 PM): haha Ton (3:11:29 PM): we should do auditions for a new announcer Ton (3:110 PM): Ton (3:12:13 PM): costume; Ton (3:12:16 PM): http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/legofstafy/sheet/24778 Ton (3:12:18 PM): unglasses Teeks (3:12:29 PM): Yes Teeks (3:12:44 PM): You unlock a bunch of costumes in the game but they're only on like, the menu Ton (3:12:52 PM): hahaha RE: Game cast- vote here - killme - 08-19-2009 I still think Lolo is a worthy candidate... RE: Game cast- vote here - Kairos - 08-19-2009 Starfy has my vote now. RE: Game cast- vote here - Alpha Six - 08-19-2009 Saki; B -> Cannon; Saki fires high-speed blasts with his Cannon Sword. Same effect as his AT. (after Reticle Shot) Saki fires blasts from his Cannon Sword while keeping his aim affixed on an enemy. Smash B -> Sword; Saki uses his Cannon Sword's sword function and slashes away. Can be chained up to 4 times. Unlike his A moves, this can reflect projectiles. It'll probably be a different color than his A moves in order to indicate so. Up B -> Boost Jump; Saki's third jump. He manages to go upwards using a boost from part of his Ruffian genes. As he goes up, he leaves his blade out in order to do damage. Down B -> Reticle Shot; Saki projects a small blue reticle (the lock-on reticle from S&P) out of his body. If it collides with enemies it will follow them for about 2-4 seconds. Final Smash -> Ruffian Mode; Saki teleports from the battle arena. The area becomes dark and fills up with a liquid in place of the floor. (It was blood in S&P but I don't think we can go that far.) Saki then reappears in the background as a giant Ruffian. A yellow targeting reticle (free aim from S&P) appears and is fully controllable. B fires blasts and A does a giant diagonal swing across the general area of the reticle. RE: Game cast- vote here - Ton - 08-19-2009 Tyvon, I have no idea what you said, but we'll see what everyone else thinks. RE: Game cast- vote here - Alpha Six - 08-19-2009 I'm incredibly shit when it comes to explaining ): RE: Game cast- vote here - Ton - 08-19-2009 It's not that. I just don't know the character at all. RE: Game cast- vote here - Angelglory - 08-19-2009 Good movesets for both of them. RE: Game cast- vote here - Ekoi - 08-19-2009 If we're still trying for a 3rd-gen pokemon, I've got an idea to throw out. It's a bit of a longshot, but Mudkip might work. Mudkip has alot of love/hate among the fans nowadays due to it's meme status, and could be given a pretty unique moveset for those worried about it being a squirtle-clone. -Ah whatever, I'm bored, so I'll come up with a moveset for Mudkip "just because." B: Mud-Slap Mid-to-short ranged semi-rapid projectile attack. Tapping B will have Mudkip kick-up a spray of low-damage streams of mud forward. Like the firebreath moves, it gradually becomes less effective, but instead of loosing range into nothingness, it sprays less mud-streams, to a minimum of one stream. Side B: Water Pulse Essentally, Mewtwo's Confusion attack with longer-and-wider range, and less damage. It would have to be a bit slower so it couldn't be spammed as rapidly as Confusion could. Up B: Mud Sport A clump of mud appears below Mudkip, and it uses it as footing to jump off of it in the tilted direction. The mud clump bursts a bit like a firework, flinging mud all about and pushing away anyone(friend or foe) that is too close to the burst. When used on the ground, the burst would be a bit wider. Down B: Bide It would be a counter-type move. A mix of Wario Waft and Mr.G&W's cup-thinger(I forget what it's called.), it would have to withstand enough damage, which gets save up between uses, until Mudkip begins to flash. While flashing, the next use of Bide would unleash a high knockback attack of some kind. Final Smash: Whirlpool Whirlpool would make for a unique Final Smash. Take what they did in the anime, and make it bigger and more dramatic. Throw in a bit of mud in that spinning vortex of watery death for good characteristic measure. RE: Game cast- vote here - Koopaul - 08-19-2009 Is Prof. Layton 3rd Party? Anyway: I think it would be better if Starfy had his Moe Spin as his Final Smash. In Starfy 4 in Japan, Starfy can unite with Moe the clam and spin around and around. You can catch this speacial move at 1:00 RE: Game cast- vote here - Kairos - 08-19-2009 (08-19-2009, 09:54 PM)koopaul Wrote: Is Prof. Layton 3rd Party? No. He's nintendo. RE: Game cast- vote here - Koopaul - 08-20-2009 Hm... It says it was created by Level-5 and was only Published by Nintendo in America otherwise it was published by Level-5 too. Besides I generally know when something is Nintendo or not... Because you know... Its me. EDIT: I have a list of First, Second and Third Party developers for Nintendo. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_developers RE: Game cast- vote here - Teeks - 08-20-2009 Cubivore was only published by Nintendo in Japan and there was a Cubivore trophy in Melee. I don't think that's a valid arguement. And according to Wikipedia, the SNES game Super Tennis was only published by Nintendo in the US and it was listed on the Chronicle in Brawl. So I don't think that's a valid arguement. I'm pretty sure Layton would be considered second party. For the longest time I didn't think Elite Beat Agents was Nintendo's own and then they showed up in Brawl and I was like "HWAHHH?!" RE: Game cast- vote here - Ton - 08-20-2009 Mudkip? No. If we did a third generation, I'd lean toward Deoxys. |
