RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 11-21-2013 1. That ending is only gotten when you plunge the Epoch into Lavos (Not by teleporting to him or fighting through the Black Omen). We could move all of the balloon sprites over to make it more complete (Maybe a big "Endings" sheet for unique sprites?). I also missed some balloon sprites with Crono and Marle like the one from above. 2. I have no idea how to get the Epoch 360. I looked into it when I got the backgrounds that time, but I couldn't figure it out. The ground is also something I overlooked (Same with Ayla/Kino on the Dactyls in the background). 3. Yup. I missed the small Frog/Magus sprite. 4. To Far Away Times is an amazing song. EDIT: Hmm, Maybe "Items and Effects"? RE: Daemoth's Submissions - daemoth - 11-21-2013 Its as i thought, "Epoch 360" is made the same way as the bike race. I checked it frame per frame and it seem to be 7 or 8 sprites modified by the game engine. And its not mode7. Also found this for ending. god theres alot Yeah, To Far Away Times is great. (the one Cyrus uses is miscolored), letter, sapling, save point, tabs, and sparkles, miscolored Hero's Badge (actually the rocks thrown by Free Lancer on Denadoro), and beta Slasher 2 (we need the one from the final version). -Should we add Leene's/Nadia's Bell? -How about the miscolored Poyozo that appears in Geno Dome? For things that appear specific to endings: -Float Away: Crono, Marle, and the balloons, Fireworks. -Follow That Cat: Epoch's ending sprites (could probably be put on the Epoch sheet like we did with the Falcon for FF6) -Dream Project: Dream Team sprites and squirrel thing (on NPC sheet) -The Oath: Frog/Magus standing atop Magus's Keep -Several: The Earth/Moon, "The End," Mode-7 ground. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - daemoth - 11-21-2013 I checked through the editor and added a few random things. About the Slasher2, its displayed in the side quest in Magus castle i guess? It wasnt in the editor. Also, i checked the poyozo in Geno dome and they seemed fine to me. I remember seeing during my playtrough some enemy that had the wrong palette though so that might the same bug on a different sprite. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 11-21-2013 I'm sorry, it was the first Slasher from fighting Slash in Magus's Castle. They changed the sprite from beta to final. I'm not sure if it would count as a sprite, but you pick it up off the ground when you defeat Slash. Yeah, you might be right about the palette in Geno Dome. I've never seen those wooden X sprites before. I wonder if they're unused? RE: Daemoth's Submissions - TomGuycott - 11-22-2013 It was either in the 1000 AD forest that led to the gate (unless it was the Soldiers blocking it then, if anything), or it is in the 600 AD forest blocking the way to the gate because there is no useable gate there. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 11-22-2013 I know they block off that gate after Crono and co. go to the Future for the first time, but I forget what that barricade looks like. You may be right. I think it's just normal bushes though, if I remember correctly. RE: Daemoth's Submissions - TomGuycott - 11-22-2013 I remember something blocking one of the routes in the forest at a specific time in one of the periods, accompanied by a sign saying something to the effect of "Do not enter". And about the "360 Epoch", should i still rip it even though its modified by the game engine? Edit: Tried to get the the fireworks but for some reason, half of them doesnt appear... must be an emulator bug RE: Daemoth's Submissions - Ton - 11-23-2013 Yup! That's it! As for the Epoch, I want to say yes, but I feel like there's got to be a way to get those sprites unskewed. For the fireworks, the other half probably doesn't appear because they're mirrored. Also, I just noticed that the Castle tiles for the Tyrano Lair use the Giant's Claw palette and the original 65million tiles aren't there. |
