Quick question about King K. Rool, does his Final Smash have any models, or is it mostly pre-rendered cutscenes?
I'm interested in ripping Crocodile Isle if possible.

It's a model, you'll find it in the "stage_finalsmash" archive. Unfortunately, though, it's technically "incomplete" -- the back of the model (basically whatever's not visible in the cinematic) is missing.

Question from an absolute dummy.
I have a 3d printer and I'm wanting to print a version of Popo swinging his hammer down in some way. What is the easiest way do to this in blender?
(Ultimately, I can print using an IGS, STL, or OBJ file which Blender can export. Any help you can give to point me how to import or if someone has a noob friendly textureless model I can stumble through adjusting the pose in some way would be appreciated.)

Figured out how to open the blender files from the Git. Do I need to add bones to the models manually? Not sure how to pose the model... Sad

RE: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Ripping Project - R-James3D - 02-08-2020

so I realized that this whole thing existed and I've been using the 3ds max script ever since I watched VirtualTurtle's video. Today, I learned that StudioSB is a thing, and I also saw that it made the mats accurate to the in-game models. So basically I have 2 questions:

1: should I stick with exporting with the 3ds max script or should I use StudioSB?

2: if possible, is there a way to make the mats in blender similar to the mats in StudioSB?

In Blender, I am having trouble with the material for Mario's hat because when I render the model in cycles, the spot where the M is black. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Hi!

Can you send a screenshot of the shader node setup you're using? I might be able to better understand the issue if I see that.
Reason I'm asking is because I recall having a similar problem in the past, though I don't remember how I fixed it. It's definitely something with the shader setup, though.

Figured it out. Set the image texture node for the PRM file from Color to Non-Color Data. That should hopefully fix it.

Theyre in the file called "06" or something like that. I changed the file names of mine so it's easier to tell them apart.
