i do believe that the back of his sheild is wooden
Edit: after looking at the dojo pics it looks like there is a little bit of wood mixed with a metal cross, but it is hard to tell on the dojo (and i don't feel like booting up my wii to check too)

In Twilight Princess, the back was completely metal. At least, in the extracted models.

Dedede's good, but too bright. Add some more variation to his shades and make them slightly duller (mainly just the red and blue).
Link's new pose is better. I'd suggest making his skin a bit more yellowish.

Edited the head and shield a little bit more, I think the shield is better but I don't know about the head.
Parakoopa I made the skin a bit more yellow(on the + one) but it's hard to notice.

Second one on the bottom image is the best. But I can't tell the difference in skin color, maybe even more yellow? His skin just is too red.
