i think its quite a common knowledge for the people who has some time playing games that hardware limitations means nothing when it comes to quality productions.
do not misread what i said about rush's soundtrack. it certainly has that nakaguma vibe, and it does have its own attitude that, in some cases does fit the mood of a stage. but on a really personal taste, i'd rather use a wider variety of sounds rather than sticking yourself to 'your style', thus making it sound way more repetitive than it should. on grind's soundtrack works because its not all about nakaguma, he doesnt make the whole soundtrack, and so you have a variety of styles that go from pop, to funk, electronic, hip hop to even metal.

nothing can be claimed at this point. its still a game in development.
if that was the case, we should claim that sonic team cant do shit in making games, but then, the sonic team we have today isnt the same sonic team we had back in the day.

even if it is turning into sonic rush: classic edition, i'd be fine as long as it didn't have so fucking many cheap deaths.
That one casino level in sonic rush pissed me off to no end with all the cheap deaths there.
