RE: Pikmin - Koreo the Fox - 04-21-2010 Finnished Blue Pikmin. Is it good enough to submit? RE: Pikmin - PikaYoshiGirl - 04-21-2010 Hmm...it doesn't seem like it has enough poses. For example, when Pikmin get thrown or attack something, they usually squirm around a lot. The blue pikmin's arms look a little stiff. RE: Pikmin - Alpha Six - 04-21-2010 The yellow palette still needs a lot of work. And have you tested these animations to make sure that they animate correctly? RE: Pikmin - Koreo the Fox - 04-21-2010 When I animated them they looked good to me. And the yellow was desided by me that it's pallet is finnal. It's just that it looks good to me so I'm going to keep it. Also, the thrown anamation was changed from the games becouse it gives it a different feeling RE: Pikmin - triptych - 04-21-2010 just because something looks good to you doesnt mean it's legitimately good that's like saying "that parapalegic hooker with the broken nose, fivehead, and monobrow looks pretty attractive to me. I bet she looks attractive to everyone else ever" RE: Pikmin - Vipershark - 04-21-2010 Would you mind uploading and posting the animations, please? I'd like to see them. RE: Pikmin - Koreo the Fox - 04-21-2010 ok, let me finnish watching your sonic 2k video first, viper shark, and then ill post them RE: Pikmin - HyperSonic92 - 04-21-2010 Wow. You've actually improved a LOT since I last saw your work. Good luck with the rest of your project RE: Pikmin - Koreo the Fox - 04-21-2010 RE: Pikmin - Gollum - 04-21-2010 As they run, make their chest area lean back with their head. Or, on second thought, better idea. Start over. Some times you just need to put a dog to sleep, and get a new dog, use what you have learned to take care of said dog and make it healthyer and better than old dog. Get what I'm sayin? RE: Pikmin - Koreo the Fox - 04-21-2010 RE: Pikmin - Gollum - 04-21-2010 Looks worse. Forget what I said then. RE: Pikmin - Koreo the Fox - 04-21-2010 I could try again if you want me to, but you would have to wait till tomorro, becuse i'm busy doing somthing at the moment. RE: Pikmin - Vipershark - 04-21-2010 A lot of the problem is that these don't animate well. At all. Not only that, but I realized that they have no feet. In the game, their feet are TINY (like paper thin), but even one pixel width of foot will make it look like they aren't walking on stumps. Here, I made an edit. Just adding the feet alone makes them look ten times better. RE: Pikmin - Alpha Six - 04-22-2010 They look worse with the feet imo. |
