Well the sailor one kinda shows it.
Basically if you are a girl your index finger will naturally be longer then your ring finger and vise versa for males.
However some people do have both the fingers be the same height.

It's not so much a question of being "girl" or "man", it's because of the balance between oestrogen and testosterone you had when you were a foetus. I've met men with a longer index, for an example.

Theres a trend for that, but that isn't to say that any woman with a longer ring finger has A TERRIBLE SECRET.
