I would rip more from this game, but it's terrible buggy. The original Japanese rom looked like this:

The English translation by Mullen was better, but it has an annoying bug with a misplaced menu cursor. And on top of that, you can't use your equipped sword. This is the main reason I can't make progress in this game, I was already at the thief mountain (north of the second village where you have to get the silver bell back from the thieves).

If anyone knows about a better version or can explain how to use the sword, feel free to tell me about it.
