RE: TUGS - Round 1 - Beginner WIP Thread - Cshad - 09-06-2010 If his legs stretch out like that (like literally stretch) his ankles should move up too~ RE: TUGS - Round 1 - Beginner WIP Thread - GrooveMan.exe - 09-06-2010 (09-06-2010, 04:23 PM)StarSock64 Wrote: Oh my, liking your concept there Tom Haha, actually my initial inspiration was Todd Ingram from Scott Pilgrim. The whole "I have psychic powers watch as I float nochalantly and not give a fuq" And then it turned out to be vaguely BN style. Male, I need to change the chest shading so it doesn't look like he has tits. :V RE: TUGS - Round 1 - Beginner WIP Thread - Shawn - 09-06-2010 itt burn trying to help others. RE: TUGS - Round 1 - Beginner WIP Thread - Frario - 09-06-2010 Shawn giving c+c by showing how it's done = good giving c+c by letting the other person deduce how it's done = better RE: TUGS - Round 1 - Beginner WIP Thread - Wes - 09-06-2010 Basic idea for my animation. It's gonna be some wizard dude with a staff, but I wanted to get a body movement right. He's supposed to be sort of bouncing on his feet ready to move, but I think I made it move too much. RE: TUGS - Round 1 - Beginner WIP Thread - Flame - 09-06-2010 This is horrible, ima redesign something else. RE: TUGS - Round 1 - Beginner WIP Thread - TomGuycott - 09-06-2010 I think this is the one I'm going to flesh out. I know it's super lame because it reverses back the way it came, but... whatever, beginner thread. As for what it is, I have a plan, but I'm not fleshing it out tonight, so... toodles. A lot of people use it in order to make characters look skinnier. Plus, they are only 3 or 4 pixels too long, since his body is hunched, and perfect proportion usually has the legs the same length as the rest of the body, including the head. EDIT: Did a little work on the style of the sprite, mostly doing some outlining work. It's a subtle difference, but in my opinion it works for the better. |
